Got this mat/pouch to use with my GHD hair straighteners.It is well made, zips fully open so it sits flat (in order to place the straighteners on when in use) and is nicely padded which provides a decent amount of protection when stored.The pouch/mat is heat resistant and there is a mesh pocket on the back, but I generally wait a while for them to cool before tucking it all away neatly inside the pouch.A Velcro flap at the top keeps everything safe and secure inside.Good value for money.

This is a great product I recently bought not only myself a pouch but I was so impressed I also bought one for my sister. I had a wahl pouch already and my recent purchase was to replace my old one as I had broken the zip that closes the pouch but it had lasted over 10 years so owed me nothing. For this price it's a bargain and if the new one only last half as long I'll still be very happy. It gives me the peace of mind that I won't burn my carpet or chest of drawers where I often rest my straighteners. The pouch is also great when travelling or on holiday you can store your straighteners in the pouch even when they are still warm as long as you leave the cord out of the pouch until suitably cool. The pouch isn't bulky like other products I've seen and my ghds fit in it perfectly.

Bought more for actually travelling than just using at home but I'm now doing both. I've taken it away in the VW Camper, been up to London in hotels with it and used it at home. It doesn't matter what sort of environment it's in and what sort of space you've got, it works really well and it's so much easier being able to pack away straighteners as soon as I've finished with them. Always had to wait when travelling before as only had a felt sort of mat thing that worked well at home but didn't secure the hot plates in anyway before, so this case has really made things easier and safer for me!The net pocket at the back worried me after reading reviews, but it holds the cable and plug really well. The zip feels really strong and no issues going up and down the track. Again, I was a bot worried from some of the reviews that it wouldn't be that strong, but it seems fine, has held up perfectly so far and seems to be of good quality.

This takes in a full-length hair styling gadget. It is quite long. In my case it is for a hot styling brush with two further attachments. I can insert the handle with the brush still attached and imagine hair straighteners and similar would be of the same length. I found the product searching for a heat pad to rest the styling brush on, and fot this as it is a zippable pouch which also doubles as a mat when fully opened. There is a velcro flap at the top, and a netted slot at the back where I can store the cord with a full UK plug. The material is strong and it seems well made as one woudl expect from the brand. For the price, I think it is a unique find and I have not seen anything similar so far.

Bought this as an accessory to go with GHD's as a present. Very happy with it.Considered the GHD case too. However, biggest complaint with the GHD case is that it is too small and the biggest complaint with this case seems to be that it is too big (which I don't see as a problem AT ALL). Seems like a no brainer to me. Why damage the straighteners by ramming them into a case that is too small (but has the right label?!) when you could get a case that fits 2 pairs?! Maybe this is blokey practicality. The GHD case is prettier and probably more of a wanted item. But I am a bloke and therefore practicality took over.This is a good quality product, it does what you want it to and as someone else on here mentioned, it's nice that there's pocket on the back to put the wire in, so it is not near the hot bits.My only complaint would be the cost of postage to Europe, a touch excessive.All in all, recommended.

My wife takes a set of curling tongs and some straighteners with her when we go on holiday. The straighteners came in a huge carry case shaped like a big Toblerone, which isn't exactly practical, and the tongs didn't come in anything. Packing was always a bit of a trauma due to the size and weight of the big prism-like case, and the fragility of the straighteners, so she wanted something that would be a bit more convenient.This case is basically a big pouch that zips along one long end, and has a flap with a Velcro fastening at the top. You can either slide your straighteners or tongs into the narrow end, sealing the flap over the top, or you can open the flap and unzip the side, lie your gizmo in the middle, and then zip it up again, whichever works best for you. The back of the case is covered with mesh and you can put things in there if you wish. When unzipped the case works as a heat-proof mat. They're very light and big enough to easily accommodate a set of straighteners or tongs, but not big enough to hold two. My wife was so happy with hers that she immediately asked me to order a second. A great buy for the price.

This is an amazing case. So smart and tidy. It's big enough for big wave curlers with the 3 cylinders. So pleased with it
