Flame King 5LB (1.25-Gallon Capacity) EMPTY Propane Tank w/Built-in Gauge

This is a very nice, and extremely handy compact propane tank. I got this primarily to use with a Blackstone 22” portable griddle. I have used it on several car camping trips and several football game tailgates. The tank’s smaller size, and lighter weight is so much easier to transport and haul around compared to a conventional 20lb tank. It has enough capacity to do 3-5 large meal preps on the Blackstone. I have also used it to run a Mr. Buddy portable heater (2 nights use on low setting, and still had gas leftover), and with a fish cooker to fry a turkey. After hauling around and wrestling with large 20lb tanks for years, this small tank is a dream to transport and still provides enough capacity for convenient short term use for all my needs. It has robust construction, good quality valve, and the included gauge makes monitoring the gas level easy. If you are looking for a handy, smaller, lighter, & easier to transport option than a 20lb tank, with more capacity than 1lb bottles, this is a perfect size and must have. I’m considering buying a 2nd one for convenience and back up. 5 stars!

This cute little tank is a life changer! I thought my gas grill days were over because I can no longer (or maybe ever) carry a 20lb tank. I thought of using 1lb tanks but they don’t last long and are not usually disposable. Then I found out there are other option.s. This 5 lb tank is perfect. I had no problem carrying it, as a 70 year old woman with a bad back. After grilling twice I bought a second tank to have on hand and I’m looking forward to a summer of grilling.

What a fantastic find! We were ecstatic to find this tank on Amazon as these little guys are not commonplace, they are hard to find in stores. We are RVers and we have a travel size grill that we take along with us. We had been using the small green propane tanks (16 oz) that you can buy in the store, however, they do not last long and it gets to be costly having to buy them all the time. On the flip side, we prefer not to lug around a large propane tank either as it takes up too much room when traveling, not to mention they are larger than our grill. We decided to search for the miniature version of the large tanks as it’s the perfect solution for a travel grill or any other equipment you may be using (lanterns, etc) and takes up very little room. The tank has proven its mettle, it works awesome. Designed exactly like the large ones, they are a mirror image (see pictures). It cost a whole $2.50 to fill it at our local warehouse store, didn't exactly break the bank (may cost more at other places). Talk about a cost savings especially compared to the green tanks in the store that cost $10 for a 2-pack. It does come with a gas gauge which is great as we can track usage. I can’t say enough about this tank, it is truly an outstanding product. We definitely won’t hesitate to purchase again. As far as I’m concerned the price is worth the convenience. Highly recommended!

The has been a perfect small propane bottle. Easy to carry on camping trips and not having to mess with the 20lb tanks that I use to carry. I should have purchased one years ago.

Guage isn't super reliable, but otherwise a super solid tank and a good size for camping use.

Only tried it out for a minute before going camping to ensure it worked, Love the size and weight for hauling around , Will be using it for a portable Blackstone tabletop grill time will tell if I need to change my rating update, this tank is great we have been using it on our camping trips and love how easy it is to use and compact for storage, would buy again

So much more convenient that the throw away little canisters. Much cheaper to use and not such a waste of resources.
