Master Lock TSA Approved Combination Luggage Lock, Assorted, 2-Pack 4688T

These are a sturdy deterrent to luggage tampering. I got the cable version because I have a guitar case with holes that don't accommodate a normal hasp. Also works with zipper suitcases, or anything else that needs a deterrent (but not foolproof security). I'll bet you could pop one of these open with a pry bar or wire cutters, but that's true of every other luggage lock I've tried. It's nearly impossible to defeat a determined luggage thief. What's more important is that if the lock's cut or missing when when your bag rolls onto the carousel, you know immediately your luggage has been tampered with. For routine travel these are great. Locking dials are fairly well machined, easy to line up your combination, easy to change it to whatever you want. I selected Master because of the Master name and the assurance that they'll stand behind their product if I ever have a problem.

My eyes are good , but due to light reflection on the chrome numbers where hard to read. No matter the angle.

Very poor quality! I can’t imagine a name like master locks would put a piece of garbage like this for sale.. The numbers are very hard to read with the way they’re printed and even when you get the correct combination, you have to wiggle cable to get it pulled out. Total garbage.!

One of them worked just fine, however, the other lock did not unlock using the default code. It is useless, and I am only able to use one of the two locks in this pack.

I bought this Master Lock for multiple rifle cases, and it does exactly what I need. Setting my own combination was quick and straightforward thanks to the clear instructions. Once set, the dials turn smoothly and feel solid. The build quality is solid for general use. It’s not meant for ultra-high security situations, but for luggage and rifle cases, it works perfectly (i.e., checks the compliance box for rifle cases in MA). I also like not having to carry a key around. Overall, reliable and convenient.

Me parecen tan buenos que he comprado 4. Son fáciles de configurar siguiendo las instrucciones y han aguantado varios viajes internaciones en maletas documentadas sin ningún problema. Tengo otro candado Samsonite de calidad similar que costó casi el doble y no le pide nada a éstos.

The locks were easy to set your own combination and fit snuggly through the locking mechanism on the suitcase. The lock seems to be another quality built master product. So far so good.

Tengo candados de la misma marca y había estado satisfecho. Desafortunadamente, el nuevo modelo deja mucho que desear. No es de uso fácil o práctico. Carece del botón para abrir fácilmente el candado.
