Squirt Clean Long Lasting Chain Lube 120ml

Very good lube, stays clean and for a dry / wax type lube works fairly well with the odd shower to. Will be buying again for sure.

What I like about Squirt lube is the cleanliness easy to use and when it comes to cleaning just use hot water with a sponge on the bike chain and a brush on the cassette spotless every time.What I don't like is the new white bottle I am 100% sure you get less in this new bottle thats the only reason to change from a clear bottle so you got less lube.

I've been using Squirt for about 6 months now. Started with a brand new Ultegra HG701 chain, stripped the factory grease using white spirit (x3) and IPA (x1). Dried the chain and then applied Squirt to the freshly prepared chain. Initially it takes about 3 applications to build up a sufficient layer and then can be replenished with a single application as required. The only down side is that it needs to be applied the night before you ride or at least 3 to 4 hours to give the lube time to dry. Performance of the lube is on par or better than other wet and dry lubes that I have tried in the past. The drivetrain runs smoothly and gears shift crisply with minimal noise. Its major benefit is that the chain does not pick up much dirt and there is no dark oily residue that you get from traditional lubes. However, the waxy lube does turn into small black sticky particles that can be easily removed with a stiff brush. Overall, a great product and its ideal for the majority of us roadies who don't have time for holt melt waxing.

I use this wax for top up, every 150-200 miles. Initially I used hot immersive wax but it is too much hassle, every time taking off the chain, heating the wax and so on. On GCN they advised to do initial waxing by hot wax and then top up by squirt. I've done over 120 miles so far and chain is still silent and clean. This way saves a lot of time.If you are new to chain waxing, remember that chain has to be PERFECTLY clean before first waxing. Needs to be washed in turpentine substitute at least two times until TURP doesn't change color and then washed again in methylated spirit.

I got fed up with having to degrease and re-lube my bike after every dirty ride out. I found that lube was making a real mess on my indoor trainer too so I switched to this wax based lube. I use this on its own, not with a full waxed chain (although I will when I need to replace this chain). The first time I used this stuff I put it on a new chain and rode 323km in one day, I spent 13 hours riding and by the end of the ride the chain was still running smoothly and quietly. It leaves no mess it is brilliant! I will not be using traditional oil based lube again!

Easy to use. Chain now noticeably feels smoother. Highly recommend.

After I started using this wax, my chain and cassette lasts 2x longer. I will never use oil again.
