My First Knitting Book: Learn To Knit: Kids

I have just received this book which I have bought for my daughter for Christmas. It is just what I was looking for - colourful, simple and clear instructions which I can work through with her and lots of really nice projects in the second part of the book, which I think will get her interested in the whole idea of knitting. I'm only a basic knitter myself, so hoping that I will learn something from it too. Looks like a great book and am looking forward to post-Christmas knitting. Off to buy some wool!

I just purchased this for my 11 year old daughter for christmas, and after having a quick flick through it i am so happy that there is finally a book that is straightforward and easy to follow, and has projects in it that i can actually see her finishing! It even makes me want to pick up my needles and start again - its bright, colourful, the format is simple and doesn't feel overwhelming. Highly recommend for any kids who are starting to show an interest in knitting.

Great for refreshing my knitting

I bought this book for my little niece because she said she wanted to learn to knit. it is very easy for her to understand and the pictures show exactly what she has to do. Great for children who want to learn the skills that our mothers had.

Fantastic book ! Easy for kids who like knitting great ideas and lovely pictures

Well written easy to understand

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson who has been begging me to teach him to knit. He is left-handed and we were finding it difficult, but this book encouraged him to try using his right hand and he is gradually getting there. He wants, of course, to run before he can walk and make a dog coat for my pup, but I have suggested a scarf for his teddy might be the best first project!

I bought two pairs of knitting needles for children, some bright colored yarn, and away they went. Once we got the yarn cast on the needles my two granddaughters ages 7 and 9 picked up the art of knitting really quickly. It was nice to see them knit for a while, put it down to do something else, then pick it up and start knitting again all on their own! We need to practice casting on so they can be more independent with their knitting. All in good time!This book was really helpful teaching me how to teach them! Worth the money!

This is a gift for my granddaughter.

This instruction book is so colorful with awesome illustrations and simply written. Just what young beginners would be drawn to! The only thing this book misses is how to hold the yarn to regulate tension. I'm able to show my grandchild that so not an issue for me. Also, there are so many utube videos that can be used as a resource.
