After trying several car cameras this one stands out above the rest! It has outstanding picture quality in the day and at night without it looking grainy. I also love that it is adjustable brightness and 3x zoom!! I would suggest this to anyone looking for a baby car camera because no other one is going to compare to this one. Also it's super easy to mount to your window out of the way.

I purchased one of these right before my daughter was born and it got put to good use immediately. My wife was readmitted a short time later due to complications, so there was a short period where I had to drive around with my newborn by ourselves. This camera gave me a ton of peace of mind, especially at night where a mirror on the backseat won't cut it. I liked it so much that I purchased another for my wife's car. This one had issues with the nightvision failing to turn on. Customer service was great to work with and after some back and forth, I was able to get a replacement camera days later. Now it works just as well as the one in my car. Setup was fairly easy, though I'm pretty used to doing this sort of work from being in the automotive industry. The cables are plenty long, and they're optimized for use with a cigarette lighter socket somewhere in the center of your cabin. YMMV in getting a clean, stealthy install since that'll largely depend on your vehicle and how the cable lengths work with the distances you need to cover. Nevertheless, this is something anyone can install themselves. Picture quality seems plenty good to me. I went with this one since it has a mildly larger screen and better resolution than the slightly cheaper units I compared it to. The colors are also pretty spot on when in daytime mode, though that probably won't matter to most. I did cross shop more expensive wireless units as well, but I was afraid of latency. That's not a problem with this one. You're getting an instant feed of what's going on with your little one. That said, this would be good bang for buck for most people. It's noticeably nicer than the bottom of the barrel stuff, but won't hurt your wallet by that much more. The added bonus is that with this premium, you get really good customer service in the event that something isn't up to expectations. That alone is worth A LOT.

I think one thing that gets overlooked on a lot of these kinds of products is the customer support that either comes, or doesn't. I want to start out my review with that topic, specifically, because that is what really stands out to me in my experience with my camera (the cam is great, too, but more on that later). I've had this camera for about 5 or 6 months now, and I absolutely LOVE it! However, I had an issue with a specific part on the camera, which was one of the two lock nuts. I think I may have tightened it a tad much, and that fact combined with the heat from the sun affecting the plastic, it seems like front one cracked. Once I noticed what the issue was, I contacted the seller, and they were more than happy to help me. They immediately sent out a new lock nut for me (took a few weeks to arrive because of the origin, customs, etc). All I had to do was send them a photo of the cracked one. Honestly, some larger and more well known companies make a bit of a fuss about this kinda thing, but these guys were on it. When I asked for a backup one (just in case), they again had no hesitation whatsoever! The service gets an A+ from me! Now on to the product itself. It's very easy to install, but what can take a while is routing the wiring. If you're like me, and are trying to hide as much wiring as possible, the entire install could take about 45-60 minutes, just so you have everything tucked away and looking nice (this can really vary depending on your situation). Other than that, however, it's just a matter of plugging all the cables in, mounting the cam and display as you prefer and clicking the "on" button. One thing to note if you're going to mount the display on your dash. We have a Tesla and the dashboard is a textured surface, so the initial mount didn't last long (again, we have a textured, black dashboard, which absorbs heat, so I kinda expected this). In situations like this, you may want to consider getting gorilla double sided mounting tape (the black heavy duty) one, and using that. Since we used the gorilla tape the dash mount has lasted for about 3 months so far, and it's still on pretty firm. The video quality is great! 1080p is much better than a lot of the other 720p cameras that are out there and cost about the same. The video is clear enough so that I can keep an eye on my munchkin. It's actually so good that I need to force myself to keep an eye on the road and not just stare at his cute little face the entire time! Hahaha! What else can I say about the product? It's an excellent value for what you pay. And the customer service is on point as well. Five stars from me!

I've had the monitor for a year. The video quality is great compared to others I'd tried out. I have two rear facing seats next to each other and I can see both children perfectly with the one camera. When only one child is in the car I can adjust the monitor to zoom in to just that child for better monitoring. Overall, I really like this camera and would recommend it. Cons: I do not use the glass mount for the monitor screen. I purchased M3 velcro-type sticky tape and put it on my dashboard. I take the monitor down when I put up a sunshade, or park at the airport, etc. Also, the charging adapter wasn't super durable. I did have to contact customer support for a replacement, which took a while to come, but it was received and covered under my warranty. These are the two reasons I give this 4 out of 5 stars.

I’m known for doing tons of research before I buy anything. This is the best of everything right here. I installed it in my Chevy Avalanche pickup truck so I could keep watch on my German Shepherd Dog in her kennel in the back seat. It’s meant to watch children, but it works great for both, of course. It switches instantly to infrared if the light is low, and looks so bright it’s just like it’s daylight (except not in color), and switches back again instantly when enough light is available. I can easily flip the image left for right or upside down, so I don’t have to worry about which direction I install the camera. Great suction on the window mount. I placed mine sitting on the dash off to my left with the window suction helping hold it in place. The wires are simple. I put some velcro tape strips every 8” or so along the wiring so it stays out of my way. (One wire goes from the “cigarette lighter” outlet to the camera, which I routed under my steering wheel, and the other wire goes to the camera, which I routed down between my seat and the glove box and into the back seat. I mounted it on the dog kennel, but it is designed to be held up with a velcro strip that wraps around the headrest. It comes with only one strip, but that’s all you need. You can buy another one cheap if you want and use the other two holes in the camera mount if you want double stripping. The image is sharp. The camera can swivel to any position. Turn on and off while plugged in, if you want. I unplug mine because I don’t want burglars looking in the window and seeing a device plugged in. Of course, they could see the screen on the dash, but no one has bothered it. It’s perfect for driving and keeping an eye on things without looking away from the road. Do not purchase! As a first time mother, I purchased this camera for my second vehicle. First, I received the equipment already assembled and in a standard plastic bag that was heat sealed. There was no scanning barcode and no pamphlets or manuals included. This indicated to me this was opened at one point and that I did not receive the new and unused equipment as I had intentionally purchased. Second, once the camera was hooked up, it worked for about two days. It started to glitch and the color was absence - only showing black and white. I've added the pictures. My phone camera gave the monitor way more credit as the smart phone auto adjust for poor quality images that were happening to the naked eye.Additionally, the night vision had also stopped working. We tried all the troubleshooting, even turned the brightness and contrast to the highest level. I contacted the sellers and received a response by a Chinese company with an email and subject line in chinese- only the body of the email was translated to English. After about two emails exchanges with provided order#'s and explanation, there was clearly a language barrier and comprehension issue and then I was told to contact Amazon for the return and they would give me 5% off next purchase. I now am out $70 on a piece of equipment that is cheap garbage and can only keep my fingers crossed that Amazon will refund me with the lack of "original" packing since there was never proper packing included. Terrible product and even more terrible customer service.

I bought this for my niece, who will be a first time momma in December. She drives by herself alot, so instead of worrying the baby is distracting her, I bought this instead. Shipping took one day longer than it was supposed to be, but that's not the companies fault, we know how mail is... I wanted to try this out before giving to her, and my husband wasn't home yet, (he's the one that always installs everything) but I thought I'd give it a try. Installation literally took me a few seconds! The instructions are so clear, every cord is marked, and even has arrows so you know which way to have it. Installation is never that easy so I swore I missed something! Lol! Powered it on and the screen popped right up. I didn't attach it to my dash, as I said, I'm giving this to my niece. The screen was clear, and I had no problems seeing my back seat. And if I did, there's even options to change the brightness and view. So far I have ZERO complaints and I feel a lot better about my niece driving with the baby. There are tons of options out there, some even cheaper, but you get what you pay for. So for the quality and amazing customer support, I wouldn't recommend any others!

Hoy me llegó y la acabo de instalar, aunque ya es de noche, la imagen es muy buena, tengo mis vidrios polarizados y es la imagen que da. Mañana en el día la probaré haber que tal. El cable es lo suficientemente largo para conectarlo, lo pase por debajo de la goma del contorno de las puertas. Los materiales se sienten de calidad. Ojalá no tenga problemas a futuro con ella.

A friend purchased the Luckview Baby Car Mirror and recommended it so I decided to take a whirl and purchased it. It is a real life changer, especially for someone who drives solo a lot. Installation took about 10 minutes and I am not technical at all. I need to figure how I will run the wiring under the floor mat to the front where the 12V power is to hide the wires but aside from that this camera is amazing. It’s literally a plug and play.l device. There’s an ON/OFF switch on the plug so you dont have to unplug or plug each time, which is con isn’t and saves a lot of time. The quality of the video is crystal clear and I haven’t seen any lagging which is a must for me. This device totally beats those bulky mirrors where you have to turn your head to look. I love that I can have the camera in a rear facing position and the forward facing position (all stages of my baby’s growth!) I’m excited to use this once my newborn arrives so I’ll be using it as read facing, gives me a piece of mind since I drive a lot to see family and the drive is long and I usually drive solo. For now I have it set as forward facing for my niece when she’s in the car which is nice. It seems like the wiring length is a good length for when I can properly hide them once the weather is nicer (winter is not having me try to hide the wires right now lol) it looks like they’re very generous on the wiring length. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to see their tiny human passenger in the back! Great product!

Update: Luckview customer service representative (Miranda) reached out about the issue. After some time, they offered another product of their that does record (BM3). I placed the order and received the product within a couple of days. Installed the baby monitor and it does record. Also the camera have clamp that can attach to car seat head rest insert bar and keep it steady instead of attaching it with on/off tape, really like that feature unlike other baby monitors that the camera becomes loose and you have to keep moving the camera until you find proper position and it does not stay there. Happy with new product and recommend it to all others who are looking to get 1 to keep an eye on their little ones while in the car. Thank you to Luckview to listen and making changes or making new products. Original: It would be by far the best car baby monitor only if it had the recording feature. There are baby monitors available with lower price that also does recording but I like the video quality and zoom feature of this make and model.

Tuve que meterme a YouTube para saber cómo instalarlo, pero realmente funciona. Solo falta recomendar que recuerden apagarlo una vez que se bajen del coche para que no se quede prendida todo el día. La definición es excelente y si aprender a esconder los cables se ve muy bien.
