Now I have had my long hair cut to a bob I think it looks better straight. I do have some hair straightening irons but where my hair is quite short at the back it can be difficult to use them, especially after dislocating my shoulder recently. I was hoping this brush would be an easier alternative.I chose the 180c setting as although my hair is quite thick I don't feel I have especially difficult hair to tame. Just by simply slowly brushing through my hair it does appear much straighter and under control - not hair salon straight if you know what I mean but pretty good, every bit as straight as if I had struggled with the straightening irons for a fraction of the stress.
