HR40 Heart Rate Monitor

This is exactly what I was looking for - a straigtforward heart rate strap that just works and with readings that I can trust. 1) Ready to use with a CR2023 battery already fitted 2) Wide adjustment of the strap to suit many body shapes 3) Paired the sensor with my Garmin watch and my iGPSPORT cycle computer 4) Tested both on a short run and a gentle 26km ride - pretty much staying in Z1 I found the strap to be so comfortable I barely knew I was wearing it. It also has a fastening method using a form of bar and slot system (rather than a press-fit popper) which is easy to connect and remove and won't get manky and rusty like a popper does (Wahoo Tickr, take note). Depending on your training regime you can use your heart rate as a useful guide for the amount of effort / wattage. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and I can very much recommend it. I have an igsport head unit and CAD/SPD sensors so I brought this as I need to new HRM. The battery lasts a long time and easily synced with my head unit. For the price it’s great and I think this brand is worth looking at if you want affordable cycling accessories that are just as good as the main brands. I’d definitely recommend this and other products.

This is to pair with my iGPSPORT iGS630 cycle computer, it was simple to pair and every time I use it, it seamlessly connects, as does my IGPSPORT cadence unit. I haven’t gone too into the data, for now I just like to see how my readings compare for the same journey and use it to raise my heart rate for a part of each ride. I can really recommend this to anyone wanting a simple heart monitor that does what it’s made for.😁 UPDATE: 1 year later Sadly, now, it just refuses to connect, I’ve changed the battery, cleaned the connections but, nothing☹️. Now going to have to find a replacement, not happy. On the other hand, my IGPSPORT IGS630 is brilliant,I would highly recommend it!

Very unclear how to use the thing. It comes with pretty much no instructions, and the user manual (which can only be accessed from their website on a PC rather than mobile device) contains little added info. I bought this thinking I could sync it with my Garmin watch and Garmin Connect app, but having finally set the thing up, I've found out it's not compatible. Apparently it will sync with Strava, but it's unclear how I start tracking on the device - I suspect I'd have to start an activity on my Garmin watch, then also start it on the iGPSport app too. There are no instructions though so we're left to guess and try to work things out ourselves. Connecting to bluetooth is fiddly. The device has no lights or indication as to whether it's on or not, so you have to wait around and hope it finally shows up when connecting via Bluetooth.

The product is faulty and is not connecting via bluetooth. All my other devices are fine and I have changed the battery. Still not connecting. I emailed support 1 week ago and no response. Very poor
