Clinique High Impact Waterproof Mascara | Lengthening, Volumizing, Smudge-Proof + Safe For Sensitive Eyes

This is my go to mascara for all year round. This extends my lashes it seemingly making them appear much longer and natural. Additionally, it is highly waterproof and does not smudge or smear in freshwater or saltwater environments. It might be a little spendy, but it is most certainly the best mascara.

My favorite mascara. One tube lasts for months and its pretty affordable in my case.

I decided to try Clinique High Impact Waterproof Mascara to see if it was better than other brands I’ve used, but so far, I’m not convinced.It does a decent job of lengthening and adding volume, and I appreciate that it’s smudge-proof and safe for sensitive eyes. However, compared to other mascaras, I’m not sure it’s the best value for the size. For the price, I expected a bit more impact or longevity.It’s not a bad product, but I’m still on the fence about whether it’s worth repurchasing. I’ll keep using it for now, but I may stick with other brands that offer more for the money.

Great waterproof mascara

i stopped wearing mascara years ago. i'm not much for makeup anyway, but mascara at least made it look like i had eyes in the pasty-white canvas of my minnesota face. but with contact lenses, flakes getting in my eyes, complicated removal routines (i prefer waterproof)… and i truly wore it infrequently enough that it would be gross & dried out within a few months. so i abandoned even that minor attempt to look like i was among the living (blush --tarte-- does help, just don't overdo it). when i turned 60, i realized it really was crucial this differentiating myself as living vs appearing to be an upright cadaver, and hunted for a high-end waterproof mascara--voilà! i am SO happy to have found this! my younger siblings are no longer embarrassed to be with me in public (no, she's not dead yet; yes, she really is that pale), and i even startle myself if i catch a glimpse in the mirror and SEE I HAVE EYES! i will never ever go back to the other stuff (you know who you are)… easy application (just one swipe up!), there is no flaking, easy removal (if i even remember to take it off). i do use an eyelash "comb" to get the individual lashes to separate or smooth out any tiny lumps, but that's my peculiarity. as i creep into my more senior years, i'm thrilled to have found a product that i know i'll continue purchasing/wearing for as long as i am genuinely among the living.

Goes on well, does not have big clumping flakes, but does flake off badly at the end of the day.

Have been using for four years and it remains my favorite. Does not clump and I am a cryer, and it stays on!
