Disappointed it wasn't a down coat as described but it is waterproof and very comfy and warm. As mentioned in previous reviews it's on the large size but on a positive note my Granddaughter will get next year out of it too which I'm grateful for because I've got it quite late in the season. I would normally buy her age 6 to 7 but after reading reviews I decided to go for the age 5 to 6 and it's still got a couple of inches on the sleeve length and the length covers her school skirt below her knee which on cold wet and windy mornings is quite welcome. Seems to be pretty durable fabric that will stand a regular wash, which is important to me because her supermarket winter coat didn't last the season which was my reason for purchasing this one. Only given four stars because It isn't "down" but overall it is good value for money.
