I'm pleasantly surprised by these grips. They were easy to apply and have some wiggle room for messing up the application. After playing with them on for a week, I decided I wanted to stretch out the corners a little more because I'd accidentally left a wrinkle, and even a week later, I could gently peel up a corner and reapply. The adhesive still sticks perfectly. This is personal preference, but these grips look most natural when you stretch and wrap them fairly tautly around the curves. It also helps you avoid wrinkles. As someone with tiny hands, these are more comfortable than a case, since they don't add as much bulk. They add just enough cushion while remaining low profile, and the grippiness is better than the smoother TPU of a lot of grip cases out there.

Fits great and feels wonderful!! I no longer feel like the deck is gonna go flying out of my hands lol. The corners where the front and back meets are a little irritating to get straight but it isnt the worst thing in the world. I cut a little of the excess off. They should oribably be designed with a cut in between them rather than a curve. Also yhe strong rubbery smell has stayed after 3 months of use but I like smells like that 😅

These grips are overall solid. They feel great in hand and are super easy to apply. The thumbstick grips were a bit of a struggle to get on, but that’s actually a good thing—they fit perfectly and won’t slip off. The major downside is the trackpad grips. They’re cut way too thick, making input nearly impossible, as shown in my attached video. That alone knocks down the rating. Additionally, while the trigger grips are fine for now, they might wear down over time due to thickness. If you don’t plan on using the trackpad grips, this is a decent set. Otherwise, it’s a mixed bag. 3/5 stars.

Overall a good product but a few issues. The good: it looks great, the version I got was the Japanese style one and I love it. The grip is comfortable as well. The actual stickers adhesive strength seems to be strong too. The bad: the actual shape of the stickers are a bit off, they won’t align with the steam deck perfectly but it’s nothing terrible. Still looks and feels good. Also, for the life of me I cannot fit the joystick grips on. I’m sure it’s possible but I have tried many methods but the joystick just appears to be too large and it is beyond difficult lol. So just take that into account. The ugly: the two stickers for the track pads on both sides of the steam deck will diminish the functionality of it a decent bit. Some of the other reviews state that it won’t work at all however that has not been the case for me. It does still work but the sensor certainly does have a harder time picking up the motion of your finger on the track pad itself. Conclusion: A good product for the price but not perfect. However, I believe the good outweighs the bad in this situation.

Really solid grips and adds a bit character to the steam deck plus it still fits in case that comes with a steamdeck can be a little trickey to apply apply just right though

Terrible chemical smell that will not go away after more than a week sitting in open air. I've tried 91% isopropyl alcohol, soap and water, heat, and claro wipes to no avail. Seam in the grips makes them uncomfortable Touchpad stickers are so thick the touchpad doesnt work once applied. Thumbstick covers are ok but make the sticks too tall for the carrying case to close with the velcro strap without the sticks being pressed down I like the look of them and the added grip, but the toxic fumes stink up the whole room and give me headaches. Edit: I let these air out in my garage adhesive side up for over a month and they still REEK

Love these rubber pads for grip and texture on my Steam Deck Oled. I got them the first day I got my Steam Deck and they’re still holding true. The adhesive is strong and the installation is fairly easy with patience and alignment. Highly recommend considering the price.

The material was a lot thicker than I believed it was going to be. It was hard to peel the red backing away from the sticker so I ended up just pulling the layers of the sticker up. It was weird. Once I had it on, I had to hold the edges down for a couple of minutes so it would stay. The fit just a bit odd. For the main grip pieces on the handles, the material makes a “n” shape with a split down the middle. While holding my deck with the sticker on, the middle split was digging into my palm and the texture of the edges of the material made my hands feel scratchy and uncomfortable . This might work for you but it just felt like the main part my hand was grabbing into wasn’t covered and made me feel Icked out. But what REALLY didn’t work was the joystick grips. They’re too small there’s absolutely no way it’s supposed to stick on. I took the stickers off after having them on for about 5 minutes. Very disappointed because the design is so pretty. I will say, it was very easy to apply and the stickiness is very strong. I was even surprised by how clean it came off too. I expected it to leave some residue but it came off perfectly. They would have been fine to reattach if I had wanted. Not a horrible product, just wasn’t right for me. Except the joystick grips, those are actually really bad
