AmtechAmtech S6360 Recoil Keyring

I've been using two of these for about a year, one on my left side for keys, one on my right for my Oyster/work cards. They work great.One small problem is that I prefer thinner leather belts, and they tend to slip off fairly easily. This has been a practical problem on two occasions where it fell off when I was out and about, and I do worry that a "clip" holder in general is not good enough with these belts.The product is great if that's not an issue for you, but I am now looking to get one with a carabiner.

I've tried many different versions of this type of product and find that these are exceptional value for money. The belt clip is secure and the cord seems reasonably strong. I only use it for smallish bunches of keys when at work in security. I have added a small clip to the key ring though as this makes it easy to switch bunches of keys between sites, but this wouldn't be necessary for "normal" use. Very pleased and would recommend the product, especially at the price!

Only just received it but first impressions are very good. The last one I bought from a different site fell apart after less than 4 weeks of very light usage so hopefully this should last much longer. I wish it had a steel cord rather than nylon because that is probably the weakest point but up to now I am impressed. Very reasonable price.

I bought this to house my ID card for work - I hate the one that dangles around your neck. It is attached to the waistband on my trousers/skirt when I am in the office. It's perfectly fine for the money paid - it is used every day and so far there has been no problem. It arrived in good time and well packaged, so no problems for me.

Well it has a steel cable inside and thats the reason I bought it, thinking that it will last me longer than those nylon ones. Mine lasted a couple of months, maybe I got a defected piece or maybe I overused mine.

Advantages.Lightweight which means less stress on car ignition lock assemblies by the time you have added door keys etc you have some weight there.Makes it less easy to loose your keys as you have a larger pack and two a belt clip if you do not have any pockets.Dis-advantagesNylon cord will break after a while but it is repairable when taken apart carefully.Re-coil spring will eventually go but you will get at least five years use out of it if treated with respect.Not as robust as the all metal version but considerably less weight well worth it if you break a car ignition lock assembly.This is my second one I have bought of the same type.
