Exo Terra Reptile UVB200 High Output Bulb 25 Watt

Items delivered quickly and the price is great.However, out of the two lamps I bought 1 had excess solder on the lamp, and more importantly the lamp was not fully home in the base (see picture, with the gap between the lamp and the base increasing from left to right). I am assuming though this is nothing to do with the seller and just a random defect from the manufacturer.Despite this both lamps worked absolutely fine.

This bulb was fine for the few months I used it, til one day the base exploded and knocked all the house power out. Exo terra were quick to blame its age or anything else they could think of except for it being their fault. No assistance was offered by them. It will be a long time before I buy their over priced, under safe products again. On a separate note, all the exo terra light comes I have, have dangerous faulty switches after a few months use, I got a blu glad and a shock from one.

I have ordered this bulb as a spare one in September and I didn't check when it arrived so when I needed it I found out that it's not working at all. It wasn't even working for a second. There are no signs of any damage on it. I couldn't return the product as it was already too late. There was no option to contact seller or any way to check if there is warranty. I am highly disappointed and won't be buying it again from them.
