Wow... I have been searching for a white watercolour pencil to add impact to my drawings, and this certainly does that!! Great quality.

Super quality, easy to use, blends well, soft tip, just right for what I needed it for. Good value, would buy again.

I brough this as an extra to have in my watercolour set. I already have a full set of these, but wanted to add a black one in within my paint set for the times when I wanted a black outline in my paintings...thing is, this works a treat as you can then go back with the brush and diffuse the line in places. Really useful to have one of these as a "floating" extra. However - I reckon the whole range of these pencils are just fantastic and so dont just buy the black one....get the entire 120 of them (I wish ! ) :-)

Qualität wie gewohnt. Leider durch Versand und Verpackung etwas teuer. Im Laden sind die schon teuer! Aber egal. Wir brauchten sie dringend.

This is a great watercolor pencil. I had heard great things about the Albrecht Dürer line, which are well deserved, but I didn't feel like getting a set; I was glad to find these readily available as open stock I wanted a black pencil specifically to do monochromatic watercolor sketches, and to add gray washes to sketches done in ink. This pencil is an excellent choice for that purpose, a little pricey for sketching maybe, but not prohibitively so. You can make light, sketchy lines that can be erased while still dry, and which will blend out completely when water is applied. Values can very easily be controlled, either layering dry and then wetting with a brush, or layering over previously dried washes. You can loosely scumble in tones without being very careful about doing a smooth layer in dry pencil, as the color will dissolve and blend completely. The pencil would, of course, be suitable for more finished works too. It is well pigmented, smooth, light fast, and doesn't require any fixative. The layers are re-workable to a point, and will bleed together, pool, back-run, glaze, etc. just like regular watercolor paints, so you can get a traditional watercolor look. To get a smoother tone I find it is easier to use much less water and more careful pencil work.

Viel zu teuer. Logisch mit Versand und Verpackung. Qualität ist wie gewohnt. Aber das sollte man im Laden kaufen. Bei uns war es nur dringend.
