First impression was that the wax is quite hard so application takes some time and the initial results were a little disappointing. Water was starting to bead but didn't run off and left water stains when dried but it did make the metal flake pop more in sunlight, which was a nice. It's was also a little hard to see when applied so it was easy to miss bits. Now my car wasn't well looked after when I got it so there was probably no wax on it to begin with and my initial application was possibly a little light due to the thickness of it. (edit: I got 5 to 6 uses out of the tub opposed to 3 to 4, so I was definitely light the first few times) After washing the car with a wax friendly car shampoo and applying this wax multiple times over the course of a few months, all water now beads up, runs off and dries with minimal staining. Adds a lot of shine to the paint and does a fantastic job to start with however within a week or so the hydrophobic properties didn't seem to last.
