It doesn't work at all, unless you want to keep people away. I wore a mask while spraying, but the scent still seeped in and you can taste it, and boy, oh boy, does it taste awful! Even after mouthwash, I can still taste it. And within two minutes of spraying it on my Christmas tree, my cat still tried to eat the tree, then again tried to eat 15 min later, and again 45 min later. Don't waste your money.

To my complete shock this product works. I bought it for my new kitten because she scratches the couch cushion but did not think it would work with my older cat (she is stubborn and stuck in her ways!). It worked on both of them! Any place I sprayed they just kept away from. I don't mind the smell, it is light and not overpowering but I realized that it's important to open the window in the room because if you spray too much it kinda sticks in the air and is very yucky tasting. I found that I had to re-spray it for a few days and now I don't need to - they just keep away. I will keep it for my Christmas tree - I am sure my kitten is going to want to mess with it so glad I have a solution.

It doesn't keep our cats away. It has a strong smell but not unpleasant.

Some of the complaints on here are understandable, and if you keep a few things in mind going in you can make good use of this product. The smell is strong and when it gets in the air you might taste/feel it on your throat and tongue, so best to use in a ventilated area if you can or just leave the room for awhile. For the reason as well, use a little to start! It seems effective for 2-3 days then you will need to reapply it. I don't recommend putting on furniture where people will touch it or get it on their clothes.

Tried to use this to keep my cats away from the Christmas tree. It didn't work very well and made the house smell terrible!!! Even only spraying a little - it spread quickly and gave me a headache.

I Used the product as instructed on a chair I want the pets to avoid. Within 1 hour the pets were back on the chair. It’s smells bad and you would think it would keep a pet away, but apparently it only smells strong when you spray it and then it wears off right away. Save your money and avoid this product.

I just adopted an adorable older cat who loves to scratch my door frames. I've tried several products but this works the best. After applying and following the directions for use my kitty just sniffs at the door frame and walks away.

This kept ME away from my couch instead of my cats. The smell is god awful. Don’t even think about spraying this in your furniture if you’re not ready to leave your house for at least the following 5hrs, the particles of the liquid “fly around” in the house and sort of get in your palate and it’s just awful cause it takes a while for them go away. My cats were so unbothered by this spray. I decided to give it a try just to see if it actually worked as it had very little reviews, but my bad. Do yourself a favor and don’t purchase it, won’t work.
