what width strap pins are needed, i want to buy blue strap

I am not quite sure of the question - you will have to have the watch before you get the strap so you can see for yourself. As mine gave up the ghost after just a few weeks I would also give it some time before you spent time on a different strap

Around 2cm across the face, a little bit extra 2-3mm for the casing😀

how long is the strap

The strap is 22cm long including the watch face which is 2cm diameter. Measured from the tip of the buckle to the end of the strap.

Is the strap real leather?

I think the inside layer, the skin side, is real leather, and the outer layer is pvc. I've had this watch for about two years and it keeps good time, and still looks smart. Recommended.
