I was horrified to find out how easy it is to defeat the old locks in our exterior doors. After some research I found these 3 star, anti-snap locks on amazon for a reasonable price and ordered two. The each came with 5 (very impressive looking) keys and were super easy to swap over for the old and very inadequate ones we had. When you receive the keys you are given the option to register with the manufacturer and assign a password to your set that must be given to get further keys cut, so no one can get a cheeky spare cut without your approval! Spare keys are only available from a limited number of suppliers (for which you get a list) and cost between £8 -£10 each so getting 5 in the package is a pretty big deal that made these locks better value for us than the ones that only included three keys. These did cost more than the "standard" locks on amazon but I felt they were well worth the extra investment! I am now in the process of informing my friends and family how simple and worthy a job this is! Consequently it goes without saying I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this item, because I already am! These are a quality lock. The keys are numbered and without initially registering the key, spares can't be obtained - a nice security touch. There are different lengths & finishes to suit different doors, so it's not hard to find the ideal lock. The key slides easily into the lock and is very easy to fit - just a screwdriver required.

Looks and feels solid. Easy to install. The keys look secure.

3 star looks a good product .fit easy

Our original uPVC front door lock was getting unreliable. The key would turn but not lock the door first time. I looked through a number of reviews and eventually selected this one. I opted not to go for the cheaper versions, as that felt a pointless way to save money when it's our main access point to secure our home. I resisted spending a lot more on recognised brands due to the variability in reviews and most importantly in the number of keys provided. I was massively swayed by this lock offering 5 keys, but also reassured by reviews that the quality was robust along with the quality assurance star ratings. I'm now returning the favour by writing my own review to reassure. Installation was so easy! 3 minutes total! How home insurance companies have such high excesses for lock replacement baffles me! I removed the central screw (accessed from the side of the door), keeping that in case the two that were supplied with the new lock didn't fit. I didn't need to worry, so I ended up using one of the new ones. I rotated the existing key in the old lock by around 30° until it pulled out. I placed the new key in the new lock and rotated the key until the two barrels were in line and slid this into the door. I made sure the EXT markings on the lock faced the external side of the door (it's clearly marked on the product - you'll also note the branding and star rating is visible from the outside of your door after fitting). I then rotated the key to the horizontal position (this rotates a locking barrel so it all stays inside the door). I then fixed this in place with the screw from the door-side. Incredibly quick process! I tested all 5 keys from inside and outside before finally shutting the door. Then a quick reminder to all family members that the key goes in horizontally not vertically as most locks do and the job was complete. I should add that the product itself felt reassuringly heavy and high quality. Finally, another reviewer mentioned graphite powder as a dry lubricant. This is mentioned in the paperwork to do every 6 months as a condition of the warranty. Having never heard of this before I bought some and actually used it on the old lock to see if that fixed my problem before replacing the lock. So a huge thanks to that review as that could have solved my problem. I've since dry lubricated all exit locks in the home and set up a 6 month reminder on my phone, like I do with other tasks (cleaning the washing machine and descaling the kettle - yes, I really am that person!) I've registered my lock now so only I can get a new key cut for it with my password. I have no hesitation in recommending the product and encourage you to have the confidence to replace it yourself. Measure carefully before ordering!

I needed to replace our front door cylinder and gave this a go despite never having heard of the company. The first one I received was the wrong size (I ordered correctly, the wrong one was sent!), but the second was correct. It was easy to replace my old cylinder with this new one and feels excellent quality. It came with five good quality keys, and I like that you need to order replacement keys specifically with a code so they can't be so easily copied. Highly recommend, especially for the price. It was a tenner cheaper than a well know company's alternative that only came with three keys and didn't feel such good quality.

Brilliant locks, very easy to fit, feels very secure and like that it needs to be registered and give a password for if needing new keys cut. Would reccomend.

A great lock, very robust has some weight to it comes with 5 keys makes this perfect for your home security. Ashame i had to return it because i needed something for a smart lock but if i decide to change back ill will be using this definetly
