Brilliant. My eyes aren't quite what they used to be so when I recently needed to do some soldering I decided to look and see if there were any other options to make it easier. There are and this is it! I stripped back the wires, inserted them into either end of these then, using a heat gun, had the job done within minutes. Held by the solder in the middle, water resistant via the little grommets at either end and strong to withstand vibrations.

Great idea. A little fiddly to use, but it does a good job of soldering a joint and holding the wires to be joined together. These little joiners are really designed for someone who does not have the time to wait for a soldering iron to heat up, flux the wire. Tip the wire with solder and finally join the two pieces together and protect the joint with electricians tape. I would say these are not a cost effective way of making a joint if you have the time to do what I said previous. These are a fast way to make an effective soldered joint. They come is diffecent sizes hence the different colours.

I saw these used a couple of times recently on car rebuild Youtube channels and seemed simple enough. Had previously used a combination of crimp and vampire connectors with indifferent results. In the vids people either use a solder iron or hot air gun to melt the solder and effective make a permanent connection. My experience has shown the hot airgun is the most effective method in my hands. Already used on two installations where previous vampire connectors were failing and results seem rock solid. Already had to top up with the white ones.

I think these are a bit hit and miss when it comes to securing the wires together reliably. I'm not 100% happy with the strength of the connection (sometimes they pull out easily) and resorted to simple soldering and heat shrink for connections that I want to have faith in long term.

Wish I knew about this product years ago. It would have saved me hours of hand soldering the wires before heat shrinking them. Very easy to use, strip the wires as normal, fit the right diameter seal, wiggle the wires until the copper parts interconnect, apply a normal heat gun, the fitting shrinks and holds the wires, hold a bit longer and the solder melts. these are great. Better than shrink wrap because they solder at the same time. I connected the wires slid the connector over the join and used a lighter to get a supposedly watertight and soldered joint. Easy to use and did the job well

Now I have a confession to make: I'm the world's worst at soldering, which when you're doing the delicate bits on the wiring of a classic motorcycle, is not exactly ideal. This stuff though, is a Godsend. Easy to use and makes a neat connection. I highly recommend it to anyone who's a bit 'iffy' with the old soldering iron. Useful for the more experienced as well, I'd say.

Ich bin durch eine Werbung auf einer Social-Media-Plattform darauf aufmerksam geworden und fand das direkt mega cool. Wie immer habe ich mich dann bei Amazon auf die Suche danach gemacht, auch wenn ich unterm Strich etwas mehr dafür bezahle. Lieber ein paar Euro mehr bezahlen, dafür aber nicht 6 Wochen darauf warten müssen.Die Verbinder funktionieren tadellos und wie versprochen. Die Box umfasst jede Menge unterschiedlicher Größen, wodurch sich für so ziemlich übliches Kabel etwas finden lässt. Kabel reinstecken, mit dem Feuerzeug erhitzen und schon kurz darauf schmilzt das Zinn. Nach abkühlen ist das dann auch wirklich bombenfest, hätte ich so nicht erwartet! Wenn es also mal schnell gehen muss, ist die Lösung wirklich super. Und man spart sich damit das lästige Gefummel mit dem Schrumpfschlauch, weil das hier ebenfalls integriert ist...Würde ich also jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann es absolut empfehlen.

Articolo geniale , ottimo per unire cavi elettrici interrotti. Facile da utilizzare,veloce da applicare. Si infilano le estremità del cavo da giuntare da destra e sinistra verso il centro del giunto, si scalda il centro per sciogliere l'anello di stagno. Il cavo è saldato. Consigliato!

Es wurde schon viel geschrieben zu diesem Produkt.Doch habe ich noch nicht gelesen, wozu ich es verwendet habe.Nach dem Kauf eines Rasenmähroboters musste ich Begrenzungskabel verlegen. Und wie das so ist, musste ich diese später an der einen oder anderen Stelle verlängern oder verkürzen.Beigelegt sind einige Verbinder, die aber nicht ausgereicht hatten. Ein Nachkauf ist relativ teuer und da kamen dann die "Lötverbinder" ins Spiel.Bislang halten sie gut und Feuchtigkeit ist an den verbundenen Stellen auch noch nicht eingedrungen.
