As many will know, the Smart Life app and Tuya app are almost the same. As I already had the Smart Life app and an account for other devices, I used that instead and it was instantly added to Alexa devices.I purchased this for a project which will only be used and therefore only powered occasionally. It was an unexpected bonus that this set of lights remembers the last configuration applied through the app whenever power is restored. With its built-in mic, I no longer really need the smart aspects of this device having just used the app once to configure the sound-reactive show and then having it power-up from the same supply strip as my project.Simple. Excellent.

The quality of the lights and the simple instructions makes it easy to install. The colour options really make these a great addition to my room

Bought 2 of these as you can see 1 of them will not change colour from green on 2 sections and the other will not stay connected or reconnect to any app including Alexa or the Tuya app complete junk save your money

The media could not be loaded.  These LED lights came on two reels of 5mThe controller is in the middle so the lights will stretch out 5 meters each way.The LED tape is really sticky so plan well where you want to put it, if you try to take it back down you will most likely take some paint with it.The power lead is short on the set I received only about a meter long. If your power sockets are in the normal place in the room you intend to put the lights prepare for two strips of LED lighting to start at that level. I did look to see if I had a longer power lead but this unit is working on 24v not the normal 12v so unless I wanted to re wire the plug I would have to work with what I was given.UpdateIn the end I put these in my daughters room and she has them going up over her wardrobe to the short lead wasn’t an issue. If they’re were going up to the ceiling these would look unsightly..Built into the power lead is a QR code which if you scan it with your smart phone it will take you to the app download portal. The app works really well and particularly if you are playing music via the phone the LEDs will pulse away in time, very clever, not unique but it works well.Works with Alex to turn them off and on …

I have smart led strips all around my house and thought I would try these in my sons room. They are easy to setup and the app is great but the colours aren’t very vivid especially compared to the simphonia lights which Amazon no longer supply. I wouldn’t buy again.

The media could not be loaded.  This LUXENSE RGBIC LED Strip came very well packaged.What's in the box?Led light strip.Power adapter.1 controller.1 3M sticky pad.1 wipe.1 manual.The light strip is very thin tape, that's possibly quite fragile, so just be careful when installing this particular led tape.The controller box is fantastic with a big button to change the lighting modes, and it has a good microphone that picks up the music very well.There is no remote with this kit, so the only way you can control this light is to download the app called tuya.The app is very good with lots of customisation capabilities. The thing I dislike about the app is you have to create an account, and they ask for your Wi-Fi password.It would've been nice to have a blue tooth option and no Wi-Fi details.But once you have the app, it's great there are 22 different scene modes, the music modes are amazing, you have diy options so you can do a lot with the strip. As each led is addressable so you can select each colour of an led, which is amazing, so you can make this strip look exactly how you want it to look.I was actually blown away but the customisation options.This led strip is not weather proof so it must not be installed outdoors, or in damp humid environments, and if installing this under your kitchen cupboards be careful when making a cuppa, as you don't want steam affecting the light strip.Overall, it really is a fantastic light strip, and the customisation is one of the best I've seen.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The lights are good quality and do the job very well but I struggled to connect them with Alexa eventually I gave up. Good stick and quality of lights are very good

I used this as a backlight for my TV and it turned out great! The app has additional features that allow you to customize the colors of the light strip. I also like the music feature which I use when I’m listening to music from the tv.

I have bought lots of different brands of LED strips. I've used govee, philips, lifx, insignia, but none have had adhesive that work flawlessely like this one. Set these up in minutes and the adhesive is super strong, not going anywhere at all. Besides that, I linked it to the Tuya app, and within minutes was able to customize them to my liking. The colors are nice and vibrant. Absolutely no complaints. Came well packaged as well.

Simple to set up right out of the box. Good adhesive; great colors; simple. I would definitely recommend this product.

Compared to something else like groove, these lights are much better in my opinion. They have better customization and are able to be customized in certain areas rather than the whole strip only being 1 color. It makes for some cool animations. It's very sticky and is easy to set up. Would recommend over the more expensive ones.
