Super easy to install
Used these to replace our old bathroom lights, which had become worn over time, so the push-fit connections did not always make proper contact. So easy to install! They look great and work well.

Ceramic bulb holders
These bulb holders are made of a ceramic material for heat resistance, which is not an issue with leds but would be needed for halogen bulbs, they come pre-wired with a short length of cable ready to connect. Two holes 3mm clearance are provided to mount them. They seem robust and work well. I’m pleased.

Led Bulb Base Ceramic Socket - Good
I replaced 5 of them in the kitchen. It has been two weeks, so far is fine. Over time I know it will get damaged, but if they last several years are good enough. Those items are getting too hot with the current, so it is expected to get damaged with time.If I need to buy some more in the future, I will update this post, and you will see the life of the product.

Better than the previous connectors I had
Bought some phillips GU.5.3 bulbs and the pins were slightly fatter than the ones I had installed.When i tried to swap them they folded over the metal inside rendering them useless for both the new and old bulbs.Bought these and tested on the new bulbs before fitting and they went in without any problem. So it seems these have better connectors that my previous ones.Negatives. Wire is plastic coated instead of mesh braid and the leads are maybe bit short but easily long enough for the job.

Poor quality
Bought to repair a twin spotlight fitting using GU5.3 halogen bulbs. Both fittings stopped working after about 11 months. Took everything apart again to replace them and found that the insulation behind the bulbs had completely perished from the heat. Not fit for purpose.
