We have two holes in our old concrete septic tank for vents. Will this product be the best for both? Do we need an air admittance valve either/ or?

Provided the two holes are at the top of the septic tank and they will accommodate a pipe of a diameter specified in the product description, you should not have any problem fitting the product to one or both of the vent holes. As the Studor Maxi-Filtra is a two way vent I cannot see the need for an air admittance valve. Hope this helps.

Could this be fitted horizontally, onto an existing, rectangular opening vertical pipe I wonder...?

I don't think it would as the unit is a round fitting. I don't know how you could make a tight seal all around it and your existing rectangular pipe

Would this work on a cesspit vent pipe?

Yes I think it should. We fitted ours to a vent pipe on the patio with the tanks beneath and works great!

Does this include the fittings for attachment to 100mm Vent pipe. The brochure on their website shows that fitting is possible, but is it included?

The Studor Maxi Filtra will fit 75mm, 90mm and 110mm dia pipe, fitting is included.
