Our GenerationBD31084Z Amya-Doll with Chalk Deco Hair, 18 inch/ 46 cm

My 5 year was over the moon when she got this doll, but the shine has been taken off it a bit by the fact the the hair chalks do not really go onto the hair. The instructions say 'Rub sponge on the chalk colour you want to use and apply to the hair in small strokes.' Just doesn't work. Very annoying as there are loads of tutorials in the booklets on how to achieve lots of different styles with the chalk, the pictures are not representative of what you actually get.

The adding of the colour is disappointing because the sponges does not add it to the hair very well at all, very hard to see the colour, does not look nothing like the brightness of colour shown in the booklet, so this did frustrate my daughter, the doll is lovely and the quality of the hair is very good, my daughter has not lost faith playing with this doll and still attempts to add the colour.

Shoes keep falling off and sponges dont work to put hair chalk on. But my niece loves the doll that's all that matters

would've given the doll 5 stars but the hair chalk that comes with it is rubbish doesn't show up very well in dolls hair, not like in pics.

Christmas present for my daughter so it's not been played with yet but the doll looks beautiful. She's quite large and I'm sure my daughter will love it.

My daughter like the doll very much and I think she is right. Its hair is very good and can be brushed easily without loosing hairs. The package was great and arrived in a perfect shape. The only disadvantage the colours as they can't be used with the sponges. They need to be applied directly on the hair. But for a small kid is ideal. More colour might be a bardain for mommy!
