Works a treat
I had started to think that my jewellery wasn't as pretty as I had previously though when I realised that it was just tarnished as I was storing it on jewellery stands so it had more contact with the air. I've used this cloth to clean the whole lot (and there was a lot!) prior to putting it all away in a new jewellery box. Some of the more tarnished pieces needed a bit of elbow grease but it was still very efficient! My jewellery is now tarnish free and shiny, just like new.

No chemicals needed, just this cloth and a boiled egg
After taking my sterling silver ring with blackened details to a local jewellers to get resized, it came back entirely polished of all its tarnish and detailing (no picture of this ring was taken at that point because I was pretty upset about it lmao). Just imagine bright, virgin white gold colouration of the whole thing so the ring just looked like one big confusing mess. The man at the counter told me that if I wanted to get the original colour back then I should put my ring in a little squeeze-to-seal baggies with a crushed up boiled egg. Not really sure why 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 didn’t just add tarnish professionally and left it to me and an egg but there we are. I watched a few youtube videos on it first and followed the instructions, taking out the yellow yolk from the boiled egg and only using the whites. I let it sit maybe 5 minutes (after panicking the first few seconds after the ring appeared to be turning brown, but just incase you try it yourself, it’s normal) and whilst it did look darker, the whole ring was darker so the details still weren’t the way they were before. (If you look at the angel, all her details are lost) Not just that, but the egg actually tarnished the ring soo well that it showed me that my ring was badly worked on too, darkening exactly where the new bit of silver was put in and exposing the jewellers as pretty incompetent since resizing a ring is supposed to be flush. Figured that I would buy this cloth to take off the tarnish from the upper layers and the insides so that I could recover the detailing myself instead of trusting the jewellers again. Cloth arrived not even 10 minutes ago and after just maybe 40 seconds of polishing the ring, it did exactly what I wanted it to: took off the top layer of tarnish whilst leaving the dark details alone unless I were to purposely try to reach the crevices. I was worried I was supposed to have bought some sort of chemical to use along with this ring but no! The tarnish just rubs off directly onto the cloth. No idea how, it feels and looks just like a regular cloth, it’s soft to the touch so I am very stunned. I only have silver jewellery that I’ve been collecting over the last 13 years, so I think I’m going to spend the rest of my day polishing and marvelling at the magic of a cloth. Plus, £8 to own a cloth that I will, potentially depending on its longterm durability, use for the rest of my life? Great value for money. Absolutely no regrets. I may even try boiling another egg to get those details REALLY dark now that I’m armed with this miracle cloth. ❤️🔥

Yes, it works
Believe the reviews - this does work and is easy to use. I have cleaned a lot of silver jewellery with it and it all looks much better, from pieces that were really tarnished to pieces I had not thought dirty.I understand why you can’t wash the cloth (it is impregnated with something to make it work) but it would be good if you could.

Great for shining up silver and costume jewellery
I wear a lot of silver and costume jewellery and so I am always using a cleaning cloth of this sort. Silver does tend to tarnish quickly, and I like anything I put next to my skin to be tarnish free. This cloth was just like all the other’s really. The cleansing side quickly blackening after a standard contents of my jewellery box clean. The polishing side being no as bad, but they have a pretty limited life. What would be better is if they sold packs of these cloths, rather than individually. But they do the job great, they just don’t have the longevity I’d like.
