OXO 1072121 Good Grips Kitchen & Herb Scissors , Silver/Black

These scissors are very good. The blades are sharp, the handles are big and easy to grip. Being able to separate them for cleaning is great design. They never come apart by mistake but are always easy to undo when required.

Excellent scissors for general home use. The problem that a number of people have shown as a concern is that they can come apart if not handled correctly. This is really only a problem if people just lift them up holding one handle, it cannot happen if you use both handles, they are sharp and if not lifted properly can fall to the floor with the possibility of injury. You wouldn't lift a knife by the blade so a little bit of care doesn't cause a problem. They come apart for easy cleaning and as mentioned, very sharp. Recommended

The difference between these scissors and all our old, blunt ones is amazing. Using these Oxo scissors reveals how worn and useless our old ones are. Cuts firmly through all the items/ foods / wrappings/ flowers found in our kitchen. Comfortable and well moulded grips make it easy to apply a lot of cutting pressure. Even bought s pair for my mum.

Love these scissors and have used them for a few years so purchased 3 more pairs for my sisters. They’re the best food scissors as they don’t rust because you can take them apart and wash/dry them properly without the worry of water build up on gaps like other kitchen scissors.

Bought a series of can openers over the years. Most were OK but none of them great. Then I stumbled on some made by Oxo. "Why not?" says I?"Good name. I'll give 'em a go."What a difference. Easy to use and comfortable in my old pensioners hands. They were like night and day compared to their predecessors.Now I'm in the market for kitchen scissors. The old pairs were ok but were beginning to age. Not as good as they used to be and hadn't lasted very long either."Does Oxo do kitchen scissors? I ask myself."Yes they do!" I hear someone say."Well, are they any good?""Yes, they are"And they really are.Tough, aesthetically pleasant on the eye and they do what kitchen scissors are supposed to do.They look as if they'll last and I like the way they come apart to clean 'em.Thanks Oxo. Super scissors which come apart for easy cleaning.

With arthritis I struggle to use scissors, however these have large openings and are very comfortable to use. I have a few OXO products now and they are all fantastic quality and great to use.
