Another Wonderful Pair of Sandals from Teva
I had just about given up on finding another style of sandal in Amazon's very large Teva collection when I happened upon the Teva Women's Zirra Lite. I wear a 10 and that's what I ordered. The fit is perfect. My foot is on the narrow side of medium so I worry when I read a lot of reviews about how great a particular sandal is for wide feet which warns me off sandals that I overwise love. So for those of you out there with narrowish feet I want to emphasize that the Zirra Lite should work for you. My favorite Teva is the Zilch but the colors are pretty boring. I was looking for something in a fun brilliant color so I selected the neon pink. It is a hair less brilliant and more pinkish than the picture but if you like what you see in the picture I don't think you will be disappointed unless you really want the color to have a little purple in it. I don't understand how a sandal with such a thin sole can be so comfortable but just like the Teva Zilch which also has a very thin sole I took these sandals out of the box and have worn them everyday since. I love the look, the fact that they are waterproof and they are flattering in spite of my chunky legs. I just wish they were cheaper.

Most comfortable sandals I've ever worn.
Updated as of January 14, 2014, six paragraphs down.I just received my Teva Zirra Lite sandals (in the aqua color), and I am in love with them. I only wear comfortable shoes or sandals, but these are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. Why?1) They're minimalist--very little to no actual support, but the soles are cushioned to protect against irregularities in the pavement or trail. The soles are very flexible, so my foot strike is the same as being barefoot. I believe they're zero-drop, but I'm not certain. If it's not zero, it's almost zero.2) The straps are totally adjustable. I pulled them a little tight the first time I tried them on, and even then, the sandals were comfortable. But once I loosened them and realized that the sandals were still properly on my feet, they became better than barefoot. I can adjust the strap to be loose around my toes but snug across my instep, if need be. Or vice versa. The possibilities are endless and individual.3) The footbed is soft and velvety.4) They're beautiful. I know this has nothing to do with comfort, but I find it very refreshing to be able to wear a running-type sandal with a skirt, and it doesn't look granola-y. They're very feminine looking, but with an edge.Would I recommend them to anyone else? Absolutely. I am so happy to have found these wonderful sandals.Update as of January 14,2014: 4.5-stars for the pink sandals.I originally bought the aqua-colored Teva Zirra Lite sandals, and the 5-star review is for them. I recently bought the pink Teva Zirra Lite sandals, and they're different. The sandals themselves feel a bit smaller, but they measure the same when I put them back-to-back.The straps, however, are much, much shorter, and the material feels less substantial. At first I thought it may have been that the pink sandals were manufactured in a different country, but both the pink and the aqua were both made in Vietnam. Perhaps the fact that I bought the aqua sandals five months ago is the difference; maybe now they're trying to save money by scrimping on the straps. I don't know why they're different, but they are.I still find the Zirra Lites incomparably comfortable, and I will be wearing either the aquas or the pinks just about every day. I will be very surprised, however, if the pinks hold up as well as the aquas, but we'll see. When I purchase the next pair (I do hope Teva will introduce some new fantastic colors for the Zirra Lites--I'm hoping for orange or red), I'll get them a half-size larger, which should make a difference in the length of the straps. Do I still recommend them? Yes, definitely. Do I see a diminishment in the quality? A little, yes. However, if you're looking for barefoot sandals that cushion just a bit, offer good traction, and look great with skirts as well as with jeans or shorts, then these are the real deal.

VERY Happy With The Teva Zirra Lite
I'm new to the minimalist shoe movement, but really enjoy these sandals. From a minimalist perspective the soles are a little on the thicker side - you don't feel the road as much, but on the flip side they're a bit more attractive and "conventional" than some of the more minimalist sandals out there. I wore them off and on for a few days before doing my first 2 mile run and I did develop blisters under the straps, they can be a bit rough, but some of it is also my tender feet who've spent the winter in soft socks. But after that first week of getting used to eachother everything's been great. And a side benefit of the minimalist shoe movement is that they're SO light and easy to pack! I'm planning several trips this summer and these are much more compact than last year's Keens.

Terrific minimalist sandal.
I love this shoe. It is incredibly light and zero drop, which provides maximum comfort for my debilitated ankle. The adjustability is fabulous for an individualized fit for each foot, and the ability to expand as your feet swell. My only complaint--the reason I didn't give it five stars--is the fact that there isn't quite ENOUGH adjustability to accommodate narrow feet. Just a half inch or an inch more velcro on the bottom band would have made it possible for us low volume folks to wear the shoe. As it is now, there just isn't enough overlap (on my left foot, the velcro doesn't overlap at all). I will have to buy some sticky-backed velcro and try to extend the velcro enough to wear the shoes. WHY WHY WHY can't manufacturers make such tiny adjustments for narrow feet? It's so hard for us to find casual shoes, almost impossible to find zero drop shoes that aren't running shoes.

fantastic rain sandal
Fit was perfect (I'm usually a 5 1/2 - 6), with straps exactly adjustable for comfortable fit. (The regular Zirra could not be adjusted small enough for me)Comfortable from the moment I put them on. NO problem with any rubbing anywhere, including the ankle (as had been noted for some wearers).Wore them for extensive walking through daylong torrential rains. Stable, light, great traction, absorbed no water and dried close to instantly.I'm a pink freak and the color is wonderful. The style is light and feminine and flattering.I love these sandals.
