200g Sandalwood Pure Vegetable Bath Soap

Typical Taylor of Old Bond Street quality, I read a few of the reviews and chuckled at the negatives. Expectations are key, this soap is exactly what you should expect in every possible way and is worth every penny. This is a traditional vegetable based soap, with a great creamy lather that works well used directly on the body, with a body sponge or shower brush. In fact, this is one of the better for lather with a shower brush that I've used. The style of soap is old school in that it's a lightly fragranced soap that leaves a subtle scent for hours. The creamy texture leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft without feeling overly moisturised. Overall, a great soap that smells manly and lasts a long time without being harsh to the skin with regular use.

This reminds me of the soap my Grandad always had in his house. It's milled soap, so lasts so much longer than these overpriced soaps that are bombarding us on social media. Soap smelled lovely, lasted for a while and I was delighted. Great value, I'll get it again.

Perfect soap , smell and feel is good. Pure sandalwood soap. Worth money spent.

Great smell, lasts ages but at £7.99 it's quite expensive for a bar of soap!

This was a disappointment. I bought the Sandalwood, and it is a big bar, very creamy, and smells wonderful. Unfortunately, for some reason it made my face break out in a red rash, with several blisters. Curiously, this reaction was only on my face. I will add that I do not have sensitive skin and have never been affected like this by any product. It is lovely soap, and I will continue to enjoy it - but not on my face.

Many British and/or European luxury or high end soap makers have their version of sandalwood scented soap. I’ve tried a few, but I keep coming back to this one. For the price, it’s a good value. This will last me a few weeks, I have soft water so it lasts longer. I feel clean but not dried out. And even when the soap gets to the end and is really small, it still smells good and lathers well. The lather is excellent, and you can tell it’s a vegetable based soap, it’s very silky and moisturizing.

J'utilise déjà le savon à barbe Taylor od Old Bond Street bois de sental et je raffolais de l'odeur. Le savon sent la même chose. De plus, il mousse très bien et ne laisse pas de résidus dans la baignoire. Faites-vous plaisirs, offrez-vous en un.

At first I disliked the smell because it reminded me of my grandfather and I thought it was the smell of an old man. But my wife loved it and now I am enjoying it too, after some getting used to. The scent is quite strong. It will fill the toilet or bathroom and act as well as a cologne for yourself. The soap lather is rich and soft. It will last a long time, I have been using it daily for a while and only wore it down about half way so it is actually fairly cheap.
