Want it to be flush? Can anyone help** A: With regards to the door being flush... it sits outside of the doorframe by its nature. It’s not tight against the frame but I improved the look of how it sits by removing the standard architrave from the outside frame and replacing it with square edged planed wood with thicker wood down the closing side for the door to ‘butt’ up to. I also cut 2 small channels across the vertical frame on the opposite side for the bolt heads on the back of the door to run through. It was worth the effort as it looks great. If you leave the standard architrave in place it will look ‘gappy’ all around. Hope this is of help. **Q: Does the door just hang or is there a bottom track that the door fits onto?** A: There is no track on the floor but it does have a piece you secure at the edge so the door can rest in there when it slides back. You need to cut a small groove in the end of the door so it fits. My builder likes the design. Hope that helps. **Q: Would it be possible to attach a wooden ladder to these fittings instead of a door? I'm trying to make a simple sliding ladder system for high shelves** A: I believe it should be possible, with a little thought🙂. There is a little lateral play at the wheel end you could possibly use to get a slight angle on the ladder.
