these headphone are amazing for the price, i purchased them in june 2010 and they are still working perfectly. SOUND quality wise comparing these to headphones such as "beats by dr. dre" which come for around £100 to £250 range i was very satisfied, the sound quality is not just good but the bass is also excellent. the cord is very long which may be good or bad depending on what you are looking for but its been an advantage for me as i can sit at any distance from the audio source. The side speaker holders/drums that cover your ears are hollow which i dont like but then it makes the headphone very light and comfortable, they are also very big, not ideal for wearing outside but still very good as they provide a large surface area covering your your ears fully for optimum sound. there also a volume control wheel on the chord which is great, volume is satifactory on the device. overall the product being sold for this price is a bargain, to sum it up these headphones are cheap with great sound qaulity and perfect for indoor use. i even use these in my music studio. 5 stars for the overall quality and price.

For just over a tenner, these headphones are good; They have deep, defined bass, though it can be a little overpowering at times - would be great for pop/rock type of music, mid and top ranges are nothing special, but ok. The overall sound is fairly balanced; nothing really jumps out except for the low base, though if you have the headphones looser (as you'll probably need to), it sounds a little weaker. The 'cans' themselves have quite a hard, and fairly uncomfortably moudled foam underneath hair-catching fabric, You will find that unless you adjust the size of the headband to make them looser, you can only wear them for a short time - maybe an hour, and you will also be brushing off hair and fluff from the fabric. I believe Sony do a model comparible in price and specs... MDR200 I think - These are ok, though I think the Sonys would be better - they have the leather type cover at least. These headphones do have an enormously long lead though making them usefull if you are on the other side of the room from your music source. I would also add that the build quality is overall good, but the headband feels like it could be snapped rather easily if mishandled

Absolutely pleased with these headphones. As described, well packaged, and super fast delivery. These headphones have an extremely long durable lead, with a built in volume control (Most TVs have a separate headphone sound control in the settings, useful if the default is too low) And comes with two different types of connectors. The headphones are of a great quality, fit the ear extremely well, adjustable, and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The sound quality is very high, for me the quality is better than the in-built TV speakers. The connection fits securely. Due to external noise, these allow me to watch the TV at any hour without having to turn up the volume on the TV just to be able to hear, they do a very good job at limiting outside interference, and without having to worry about battery life. Overall extremely impressed, very grateful these are produced, and highly recommend.

I had high hopes for the Philips Audio SHP2500/10 headphones, but unfortunately, they didn’t live up to expectations. While the long cable is a convenient feature, especially for TV use, the overall sound quality is underwhelming. The audio lacks depth, with weak bass and tinny highs, making it less enjoyable for both music and dialogue. The build quality also feels quite cheap, with a lightweight plastic design that doesn’t inspire confidence in durability. The ear cushions are not particularly comfortable for extended use, and the fit isn’t secure, which can be annoying. While the price might seem attractive, the performance is just not up to par. I’d recommend looking for alternatives if you’re after good sound quality and comfort.

These were purchased to enable me to listen to music and tv on a laptop. I wasn't expecting hi fi sound quality but they are surprisingly good. Excellent dynamic range, a good stereophonic stage, and comfortable to wear for hours. I wanted wired headphones to avoid the hassle of constant charging and Bluetooth dropout. The very lengthy cable is ideal. Such good value, thoroughly recommended for the purpose that I bought them for.

Sound quality far worse than the cheapest £1 earbuds from a pound shop. I have used earphones of all sorts of quality, from really good HiFi to rubbish earbuds and these are absolutely the worst I have ever heard. There is no way that the reviews posted reflect reality and you are warned. Even for TV they are inadequate. And they are inefficient, so they are quite quiet - that is, they produce less sound per mV of signal than you would expect. At maximum volume they are just about OK for listening to a program in a quiet room. As for the cans - the headband is cheap and nasty and will break quickly, but, at least when new, the earphones themselves are relatively OK - that is, they sit around the ears and are more comfortable than on-ear phones or buds. The long cable was the reason I ordered them but it would be far better to get a better pair and put an extension in (3.5mm jack one end, 3.5mm female socket at the other). Truly fantastically awful.

En général, le casque est très bon. Confortable sur les oreilles. Le seul bémol, le son n'est pas très fort. Même avec le contrôleur du volume au maximum, le son est bas. C'est pour cette raison que j'ai mis un 4 étoiles.

Solid sound quality, comfortable fit. The cord isn't too short or too long. I used it for at least a year in the gym before dropping and breaking them. The break was my fault, not the manufacturers. Overall solid construction and a solid product.

I bought these last minute (after standing on my old one's & turning them into a 3 piece set!) for playthrough while recording music & just needed something cheap & delivered fast (Well, 6 stars on both counts there!!) and with a cord long enough to move around my studio room unhindered. They're really comfortable on my head. They were quite tight out of the box but quickly relaxed and lost the slight over-squeeze & after less than a week I can wear them for hours without a drama, sound is good not great, but completely fine at normal volumes. They're crisp and clear at low to mid volume. They do distort pretty badly if really pumping bass heavy rock music, but for $28 I never expected Sennheiser sound! And they go plenty loud enough to drown out the world when listening to music or plugged into the TV. One thing I've noticed is they do change tone quite dramatically from loud to quiet, so using on a device with changeable EQ settings is necessary if you're wanting to have consistent sound at different volumes (just Bass/Treble control is plenty for general listening). Overall I'm really stoked with the value for money, as these are every bit as good as my old $400 Sennheiser set at lower volumes, which these are replacing due to the Sennheiser's lacking durability under-foot!! :( but if you really like to rattle the brain with volume, probably go for something a little higher end. Would highly recommend without hesitation if you're looking for something for general listening on a budget...
