Quite simply a massive step up in build quality and sound. The earphones are packaged really well and the ear bud selection great - Its nice to finally have buds that fit perfectly! The flat wires ensure no twisting/tangling. The sound quality is amazing, a notable difference from the Sennheiser. Maybe not quite a mega bassy as the CX-500's, but the all round quality means you do not miss this at all. I have owned Sennheiser CX-300 and CX-500's and thought they were good, but these a-JAYS are notably better in every aspect. They have great sound quality, especially for the price range, and the tangle free cords are fantastic. Luckily for me, the great customer service at Amazon made sure that I got a free new pair, with One day delivery as well!! Also, the accessories which come with it are very comprehensive. You get 5 sizes of ear bud things and a great splitter, as well as an airline adaptor, although I am not sure what you do with that. This continued until they accidentally went through the washing machine. After that happened they began to work again, but this would not last long as soon enough the left earphone started to fade again.
