The hooks are too small
I saw this the other day and was willing to try it. From my previous experience, I had some good luck with the products like this and not so good ones. I know the reviews say this is a very good product, and I am a little skeptical. The lures came on time, which is good, but the package is very basic, which is fine with me. After I opened it, I saw that the hook size for the spoons are really small. This is very similar to the other fishing spoons I ordered on Ebay. I don't know why the people who make them choose such small hooks. The spoons look fine to me, but the hooks are too small to go with the spoons of this weight and size. Fortunately, I bought this from Amazon so that I can return it without any problem. Thanks, Amazon!

Brilliant spoons - Trevally love them
These spoons work, especially with Trevally in my area. With the 60g ones, i've caught mostly 1 - 2 lb fishes. Smaller fishes don't really go after it. Ironically, the bigger fishes that have taken a hold of these spoons went after the 28g ones. The gold spoons do get noticeably more banged up than the silver ones (obviously). The only negative I have is with the treble hooks that they come with. Complete waste of time, you will need to replace with bigger ones. Any barracuda that hangs on to these spoons will straighten out those hooks...EDIT: am even more full of praise for these spoons. The gold spoons seem to working amazingly in darker, dirtier conditions. Have had Trevally up to 5 lbs hammering the 40g gold spoons. I'd really love to give it a 5 star rating, but the hooks really are a waste of time for these sort of Trevally that have some serious head shakes.

I do not recommend these spoons
Unacceptable low quality. (1) The hooks were thin, dull and not as pictured. (2) The split rings were spread apart. (3) The body of the spoons were scratched and dull. (4) The tape was not centered and hanging off the edge of the spoons. I do not recommend these spoons.

Seem to work fine on the line.
I was taken by the range of weights available as I have several different sized/powered rods with big differences in lure weight capacity. The spoons arrived on time, packaged individually in small bags. They appeared to be pretty much exactly as depicted on Amazon. On inspection, the electroplating looks a bit rough, time will tell how well it holds up, my regular Castmaster spoon looks much smoother. One note, the lettering and "silver" facing on the lures appears to be a sticker, not as I though a silver metal integrated into the gold. Again, for around $15 I am not complaining too much and the weight values themselves are stamped into each lure, so if the sticker comes off you should still be able to differentiate the weights. How did they function? Took them out on the lake today, the 7g and an 18g on a light spinner and a medium-heavy baitcaster respectively. They both cast effectively and far. The action on retrieve seemed, to my eye, fine but without quite as much wiggle as my 1/4 oz Castmaster. Still, they had good flash and were well visible through cloudy water, so I suspect they probably had enough going on to interest a passing fish. Sadly today no fish were interested in any lure or bait I threw out. Oh well.

THEY CATCH FISH, BUT....
I purchased these in 40 gram and 22 grams for different rigs. Fishing in SW Florida off jetties, beach and sandbars around The 10,000 island areas. They cast very well and they caught Jacks, Snook, Red Fish, Spanish Mackerel, Lady Fish and the occasional Blue. The spoon casts like a bullet in either weight on the appropriate rig. The hooks ARE poor quality, even 5# fish on the big spoon will soon start to bend the hook. I will use them on my next trip, but will swap out the hooks with better ones!

... do they work?
Yes, they do catch fish, small to large. Amazing that you can catch a 10-inch fish with the 30g lure to 50 lb fish or larger, if you change out the hooks. As with many of these inexpensive lures, the hooks do give out if you catch a fish of any size. So buy them, but also get 3x or 4x hooks and change them out. I also change out the split-rings with Pro 90 lb .. then you're all set.

Very effectiveBaja jigging lure.
These spoons are DYNAMITE for sand bass, triggers, red spot bass and jawfish for jigging in Baja. Since they are available in several weights, make sure that you get one heavy enough to get to the bottom. I replaced the treble hook with a single to make it easier to release smaller fish. It also seems to hang up less with a single hook.

Missing Eye - poor quality control
The items look exactly as pictured but one of my five Lors didn’t even have an eye when it was delivered but I didn’t check on the package until today when I was putting them into my tackleboxVery poor quality control.
