how much aloe vera is in this product?

The amount is not stated on the labelling. Using the principle that ingredients are listed in % order (highest to lowest) the Aloe ingredient is listed in 14th place out of 23 ingredients and below the Glyceryl (3rd) and Polypropylene Glycol (8th) places. Also below the fragrance ingredient. My preferred product is Tabaibaloe which I had real good results with when in Canary Islands but availability is sporadic. The latter product lists the active ingredients of Aloe and Allantonia as 9th and 10th respectively and above the fragrance and other chemicals. I rate the Tabaibaloe highly, so far it is early days with Cyclax the only thing I can say is that it is more widely available.

Is it suitable as an aftershave?

I have no firm idea, but I have used it on legs. I would give it a go as it’s so good for ‘calming’ the skin - and not expensive.
