These make life so much easier getting my elastics in and out (especially when your sitting in a restaurant or café trying to do it discreetly!). When they arrive they do look a bit like something you might get out of a Christmas cracker, but they are so worth having.

Thought my son would only need these for a couple of weeks while he got used to fitting bands by hand. However they make the job so much easier that he has never attempted to fit them without a placer. My only complaint is that they are expensive for what they are, and a pack of 10 is overkill - probably an attempt to justify the price. He has only ever used and rinsed the same one.

They seem to work putting on elastics for braces

Could not do this the day before over many attempts. Bands arrived and sorted 2nd time of trying the next day. Big tick ✅✅

My son had braces fitted and needed to attach an elastic to each side at night. He could not do it himself, so I had to help. Unfortunately, the first elastic I fired down his throat when it slipped out of my fingers, and since then I have accidentally fired many across the room. Apart from the fact that is disgusting to stick your fingers in someone else's mouth, it also took ages to fit the bands. I saw these and decided they were worth a try. They are brilliant and within a couple of days my son had learnt to fit the bands himself. With this tool he can now fit the bands within seconds.

These placers really works. I try to help my son to put the bands on it's hook from the plastic placers and attached it on his hook metal braces at the back of his molar tooth by pulling the bands towards the front and by hooking it to the front tooth metal brace hook. Without this placers, it is quite impossible by just doing so with your fingers since you can't reach it at the very back of your molar tooth. For us this is a life safer and a must to those who will be using the elastic bands for their braces soon.
