Perfect!
As a disabled fat man, I have had some serious problems finding good gear to help me when cycling. Cycling shorts appear to be made for very short narrow people with stick legs and not for big men who are large even without a belly. I took the gamble on these XXXXL shorts (wow, that's big) and it paid off.To my surprise, they were a perfect fit and were fantastic for my idea of a cycle. I have taken them cross country and through town. They have provided my backside with a lot of comfort. The thighs were a better fit than others I have tried (who seem to think all men have tiny legs) and the waist band wasn't much of a bother. It does fold down when leaning forward, but it's not much of a problem when active. The baboon butt padding is obviously the sale. With my experience, I felt that it really helps tuck in and reduce wear and tear on my man parts, making for a considerably happier time for not just my large backside but the ol' love jewels.Since there's a lack of accurate sizes for shorts, I am currently around twenty three stone, a forty four ish inch waist and around six foot two inches on a good day. If you're looking to exercise seriously on your bike like me, these shorts should fit you well. I have since bought another pair and I am quite happy. \m/

Good shorts, but foam padding only gets you so far…
They look and feel great, but no matter what you say about a 4D foam pad, it will never be quite as comfortable as a gel pad, that will change it’s shape as your move around the saddle. A foam pad is a foam pad. It won’t contract/expand to take into account micro movements. But hey, great value if you want shorts for the odd ride now and again.

Comfortable well padded good value
My first lycra shorts, to deal with saddle sore issues. I cycle 30kms per day. These seem good quality and a nice comfortable tight fit. The padding works really well, and seems to be settling my recurrent saddle sore problem. I've just bought a 2nd pair so I can wash and dry every day after use. Seems like very good value for money.

comfortable .. good fit..reliable company
I dont bother with any other shorts now, these are so reliable and they keep changing the colours which means you will be pretty unique. Also keeps you buying :)Another point, I have returned a pair as they were too big for me (take the measurements in inches as a shop size, not your measured size, (which in my experience is a little bigger). This company is utterly reliable, money back no problems.Cycling 70 miles today, didn't feel any discomfort or anything from them. They feel protective and are well padded. I have been cycling distances and commuting for years and these are probably the best shorts I have had to date.Waste (shop size) 34, I bought the medium, perhaps a tad tighter than my other shorts round the waist, unless they have just become slacker in the wash, but only a tad, as I say they feel pretty comfortable. Good material, they seem to have thought of everything, and they dont move position during the ride The weather was hot :)

They’re ok.
Good comfort level. Legs stay put from grips. Ok padding, sits well.Did find issue with stitching in a very sensitive rear area after 2-3 rides so returned

Excellent fit and very comfortable
After reading other reviews for these shorts I went for a large - I vary from a 32" to 34" waist in trousers, however, I am not graced with a small backside. They fit perfectly and have been very comfortable on every ride I've done so far. I have most probably done 100 miles in these shorts. The padding is excellent, definitely thicker than other padded shorts I have, although they are all undershorts. The grip on the inside of the shorts at the bottom of each leg works very well so they do not easily ride up and it is not noticeable or uncomfortable during a ride. The design of the all black ones I have is very smart and am definitely thinking of getting another pair in a different colour. They wash great and dry very quickly.5 Stars

Average shorts
OK shorts, padding not as thick as others and altogether they feel more flimsy, but OK for the price. Fit is a bit looser than expected. I suggest buying a size smaller.

Large were a good fit for me
Needed to source some shorts for my mountain biking activity. Opted for these on the basis that they offered 4D padding. The padded area is 30cm long and 20cm wide and I found that it provided excellent protection to the necessary parts. I am a 34 inch waste and the top of my thigh measures 51cm.Very comfortable. There is an elasticated material at the bottom which is 9cm at its widest, narrowing to 6cm. This was slightly loose but tightened after the first wash. Were the branding is on both sides the panel is made of breathable material.Great addition to my cycling apparel.
