I recently received the SOULMEET 10K 14K 18K Solid White Gold Heart Locket Necklace and unfortunately, I am not satisfied with this product.First of all, the locket itself is quite small and difficult to open. I struggled to fit a picture inside and had to trim it down to make it fit. The design of the locket is also quite basic and not very interesting. Furthermore, the quality of the necklace chain was not up to par with the price of the locket. The chain feels very lightweight and fragile, and I worry that it could easily break with regular use. I was also disappointed that the necklace did not come with a proper jewelry box for storage.Finally, the price of this locket necklace is quite high for what you get. While the idea of a personalized locket necklace is a nice one, I do not believe that this product is worth the price tag. I would have expected higher quality materials and better attention to detail for the amount of money I spent.Overall, I would not recommend the SOULMEET 10K 14K 18K Solid White Gold Heart Locket Necklace to anyone looking for a high-quality, personalized necklace. Advertised as 10K "solid gold", but no hallmark (stamp) that I can find indicating purity (karat). No where...not on the back, not inside the locket, not on the clasp point of the pendant. No where. It may not apply to overseas sellers -- unknown -- but I'm fairly certain that gold jewelry is mandated by law to have a hallmark in the U.S...since something like 1906. Hence, any other piece of gold jewelry I've ever bought or have otherwise been gifted, over decades, has a hallmark.That said, while I appreciate the seller's fast reply to my inquiry, I do not like the answer given. They included pictures of 2 places for me to check, no hallmark in either location that they told me to check.If I wanted to gift something that looks similar (like...silver looks fairly similar to this alleged white gold) to my wife, I could have spent far less on sterling silver or something, which also wouldn't have a hallmark...being silver and all...at a fraction of the cost of this.My entire reason for docking 3 full stars. Otherwise the locket pendant is nicely detailed, with a great design that is very well detailed, with an included chain that seems very delicate...as is usually the case with necklaces where the pendant is the star of the show & the chain seems to be an afterthought. Nothing taken away from the small clasp and dainty, borderline fragile chain.My dissatisfaction with this product does not pertain to the design or functionality of the locket, which are both very nice; it lies entirely on the basis that if you're going to advertise something as gold, and charge the price being asked accordingly -- with a supposed content, depending on what you purchase from them, ranging from 10K to 14K to 18K -- it should be clearly marked somewhere on the piece. "Hey hun, Happy Anniversary! Now hear me out, the seller *says* it's 10K gold...I'll prove it by taking it to be tested and appraised!" No thank you.

It is 10kt (41.7% gold purity) real white gold, which explains such the high price. The locket is smaller than I expected, though, but I do like the small size. It will just be hard to print and place pictures inside.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this beautiful locket. It’s so well made I just love everything about it. Great design and workmanship. Superior piece of jewelry.
