I needed to repot my cacti so bought this compost to do it. The bag is quite small but generally it's all you need, I just have quite a lot of cacti and succulents so ended up needing a couple of bags.Having used lots of different brands and mixes of compost over the years this is certainly the best one I've had. My plants are all looking very healthy.

Not very impressed with this. It holds water far too much for succulents.I repotted some I've had for 6 years in September, & dressed the tops of the pots. I deliberately dressed them so the gnats couldn't lay eggs, as I find them gross.I didn't have a gnat problem before they were repotted. However I've been finding lots of the things on the window ledge.On closer inspection they're coming from the bottom of the pots.Nothing has been watered more than once since repotting but the soil at the bottom I can see through the holes is very wet, hence the disgusting creatures. The were no doubt already in the soil when I repotted the cacti. They could not have got in otherwise, as their pots are a tight fit inside a decorative pot. The flies are climbing up between the pots, as I've put sticky traps between the 2 pots & there's lots stuck to them.Not impressed I'll have to repot them all again now in the soil I've used previously.This soil turned out to be a waste of money & will serve me right for looking for a cheaper soil.If you're going to use it add some perlite & maybe open the bag before you use it, & wait a while & see if any flies appear.
