The stand supports her well despite the weight of the dress, and the shoes are easily positioned but don't fall off upon display. Absolutely beautiful. Am really pleased.

ALL barbies are cheap compared to the ones when we were all younger, that's just how they are now. Bearing that in mind, This particular barbie is still stunning. The dress is gorgeous and it comes beautifully presented in its holiday box. Worth the money.

A: Yes.  My daughters play with theirs just like the other Barbies (change clothes, brush hair, etc).  They love them!

A: Lots of the special edition Barbies created for the Happy Holidays Series go for a pretty penny. 

Mint condition versions of this doll, decked out in a red velvet jacket and white fur hat, are currently being sold on Etsy for $800 and $750 on eBay.

**Q: What color were the shoes of the Holiday Barbie 1988?**
A: Idk. I was disappointed that this Barbie was made of a different plastic type than our other barbies. She is beautiful though and a nice addition to our Christmas collection. Sorry can’t recall shoe color and she’s already packed away.
