Woke me up
I sleep heavy and my other alarms didn’t work. This one works great it was a little hard to set the time and the alarm. But it is loud enough.

Not very loud : Wouldn't recommend for hearing impaired /heavy sleeper. Edit: It's Junk.
Wouldn't recommend for heavy sleeper / hearing impaired.Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't think it was too bad to set up, especially with the Quick-Start video which is right on the product page; and radio-controlled clocks are always cool ;-) - And unlike my Ken-Tech shower clock, this one picked up the satellite or whatever the source is, and set itself pretty quickly. You do have to set your time zone manually, and tell it whether or not you are using Daylight Savings Time, which in August, in Western PA, USA, we are. - I'd recommend doing that first before you let it set itself, then you'll be all set and good to go.Unfortunately, this clock isn't nearly loud enough for a person with my degree of hearing loss.I bought it to replace a Sonic Bomb clock which was definitely loud enough for me, but whose snooze feature stopped working (the alarm no longer stopped when hitting snooze) after three years of almost daily use.I won't return this because it is a nice radio-controlled clock, but I wouldn't recommend it for heavy sleepers or the hearing impaired. - For them I'd recommend the Sonic Bomb, which I'll be getting another one of presently.*EDIT: OK, it's junk.In my original review I praised how quickly it set itself... well that was the first and only time it did.I have three other atomic clocks: My Oregon Scientific (the oldest of the four) adjusts to and from Daylight Savings time almost instantaneously; ditto for my La Crosse. My other Ken-Tek (the shower clock which I mentioned in the original review) picks up the time change eventually. This clock never does. I took it all around my house and set it beside my other clocks, so I know the signal can be gotten there, but not for this clock.OK, so I figure well what the heck, it's still a good clock, I'll just set it manually.Wrong - it doesn't even keep good time!It runs like Secretariat at the Belmont Stakes! Ignore it for a few days and the next thing you know, it's five minutes fast.So in summary, it's not a good alarm clock for the hearing impaired; it's not a good atomic clock, as it doesn't set itself; and it's not even a good clock. If i wasn't a pack rat, I'd have already thrown it out.

Best alarm clock I’ve had
Loud enough to make me wake up, has real bells that ring. I have a hearing loss and this one wakes me up. I highly recommend this especially for those with a high frequency hearing loss. Most alarm clocks only use a high frequency beep I sleep right through them because my hearing range won’t register it. Not this one.it’s a bit harder to set up at first but worth it.

Alarm sounds for only one minute

It’s functions doesn’t work properly
It feels cheap and it has options for M-F alarm, then S-S, which can’t not be set up on the weekends for a different time, without changing the alarm for the week day as well. Also, it sets back an hour on its own with the 12H time set, 24H is military time. I don’t like the clock.
