I have bought Rose Geranium oil for many years now, usually from stores like Culpeper, Neals Yard and Holland & Barrett, which sell excellent quality oil. I wanted to see if anything cheaper was available online, as I only use the oil in a burner to refresh my rooms. I actually ordered two oils, one from here, and the other from another company, at exactly the same time, and I have reviewed the other one (Authentic Oil Co) separately. Pros: - smells reasonable Cons: - arrived in an envelope, without any other packaging. Comes in a glass bottle and was sent via ordinary Royal Mail, so some padding or a jiffy bag would have been nice. Having said that, the envelope was tough and not easily torn. - Dispatched later than the other company (but arrived at the same time!) This was the more expensive of the two (but only by pence) and I would definitely choose it over the other. However, one I had bought even earlier, from Purely Essential (who seemed to have stopped selling on Amazon at the time I ordered these) was even better, although more expensive. Many oils calling themselves Rose Geranium seem to have different smells, and I suppose a lot of it comes down to personal preference, what you are going to use it for, and your budget. Overall, in terms of value for money this is not a bad product, but I’m not sure I would buy it again.

Smells delicious. exactly like red fresh mandarins and has a divine sweetness to it. It's strong and lasts many, many hours. the only problem is the bottle's cap. it's a nightmare. I've injured myself twice with the knife while trying to open it. still, not going to remove any star because the essential oil is so gorgeous. but really it'd be such a good idea to change the cap !
