In a car with the air vents on recirculate it will slowly clean all inside air. Whatever blows directly under your nose means you will inhale, in part, that purified air. I believe that the idea of this is much cooler than its reality. ALSO: the answer that says a space 54' X 54' confused the concept of 54 square feet. If you consider a small car's width on average 5 feet, and length on average 6 feet, you're at 30 square feet, a larger car/truck would likely reach the limit of 54 square feet. And that still takes quite a bit of time to achieve, based on its rating for how fast (usually rated on the louder high speed) it can go through a certain sealed number of cubic feet. Since they don't rate for cubic feet (nor is the capacity rating given here) this is a mystery, but one would think it would be based on an 8' ceiling, while a car is maybe about 5 feet from floor to ceiling. **Q: How many mg per hour of ozone does it produce? How long does it last without a plug?** A: It lasts about 10-12 hours on low.
