It’s a hefty lump, so you will need another person to help you manoeuvre it into place and build it, but the instructions are great and you’ll be smoking in no time. I’ve used it multiple times a week since owning it, and it has really helped me up my smoking and BBQ game. It’s a joy to use and quite the learning curve to learn the nuances of the kamado, but after a few sessions, and a bit of confidence you’ll be smoking for hours on end no trouble. **Q: What are the interior dimensions for grilling?**
A: Hi - these have an 18” diameter cooking grate - but you can extend this If you wish with the half moon grill extenders - 1 or 2 hope this helps

**Q: What packaging**
A: First one arrived broken for me and inside was a mess to be honest. I eventually got a replacement and the packaging was excellent. Arrives on a small pallet and has a wooden top and bottom and sturdy cardboard wrapped around it. Inside was very well packaged with loads of polystyrene to keep everything in place

**Q: Hi how big is this Kama Do?**
A: 18” round

**Q: Are the shelves metal or plastic**
A: I believe they are supposed to be plastic according to the KJ website but mine came with metal ones so was a bonus

I bought this kamado bbq to replace an old steel bbq. I’m very impressed with it, I use less charcoal and the results are impressive. Too bad that original add ons like rotisserie and pizza oven are so expensive. I recommend it!
