IRWIN VISE-GRIP Cable Cutting Pliers, 8”/200mm, 10505518

These are very good cable cutters. The are very sharp and cut through 2.5mm t&e with no problem. They are very good for stripping the outer insulation but you have to be careful as they are so sharp that its easy to cut straight through the cable. They are not expensive, well built and I feel these will last me quite a while.

Owned these exact cutters for years now And am so happy with them I’ve ordered these as my back up pair for eventually when my originals go blunt I’m an electrician by trade and through my experience I’ve found the handles have done their job when having a couple near pissers And I really am happy with the way they strip the cable Nice and sharp Comfortable to wield Long lasting and durable I can’t recommend this product enough It’s made me actually a big fan of the Irwin brand and I’ve Purchased other variations of their tools such as pliers thanks to bonding with these bad boys Strongly recommend

I'm in the process of restoring an old car and have found that some of my tools are worn out - especially my wire cutters. Yesterday I was rewiring the rear tailgate and removing some dubious splicing. My old snis were awful and struggled cutting through 1mm copper cable. I ordered these just before midnight and they arrived within 12hrs! They are solid, good quality and i've already tested them.. they cut effortlessly and very cleanly through cables of various sizes. I'm really impressed and have no doubt they will be great for what I need. Great quality at an excellent price... arrived sooner than expected .

Very sharp cutters and very good for cutting most electrical cable. My only gripe would be that they are very difficult to use one handed i.e. the handles are so long in relation to the cutting head that you have to use two hands to open the jaws wide enough to accept the cable. I'm an average sized bloke with average sized hands so I'm guessing this would be an issue for all but the biggest hands. By way of comparison, at the same time as purchasing these I also bought the matching side cutters and they fit my hand perfectly. That said, these do go through cable like a knife through butter.

Great pliers have been able to cut through 6mm with a little bit of struggle.

Produit conforme et de très bonne qualité. Pince de qualité qui offre des coupes de câble propre et net facilement. La qualité de fabrication est sans reproche et le rapport qualité/prix bien placé (actuellement 17.15€). la prise en mains est agréable et le revêtement offre un bon confort d'utilisation. Un coup de WD40 pour assouplir la rotation de la pince et elle est douce à manier dès le début d'utilisation (ceci dit comme toute bonne pince). Satisfait de mon achat, je vous recommande cette pince qui devrait tenir dans le temps.

Einhandbedienung nur für Einzelader möglich. Selbst bei Mantelleitung NYM-J 3x1,5 mm² war mir, Handschuhgröße 9,5, keine Einhandbedienung möglich. Eine Knipex Kabelschere läßt sich eindeutig besser bedienen. Auch bei mir mit einer Hand. Allerdings zum min. zweifachen Preis.

Estoy contento con el producto, es robusto y de buena calidad. El mango es de goma y es bastante cómodo. Quizá por poner alguna pega le cuesta abrirse totalmente. Lo recomiendo
