Nice little book and toy great gift
This is great value for money my children ages 2 and 4 are always getting invited to parties and fairly often I don't know the child well to buy gifts for so think this is perfect and most children like books and it come with a nice toy related to the story. My children have recieved a few of these this one and differant ones and they are always a big hit and I fine them reacting the story with the toy which is nice. I think for a small gift to take to a party its brilliant nice amd easy to wrap and if anything like my children it's well recieved.

Lovely book, a favourite for my two little ones
This has been a favourite for my girls (now aged 3 yrs and 18 months) for a long time. My youngest now says 'arrrgh!' in a comedy way whenever she sees a spider! It's a fun book which makes a great gift. I read one review which talked about it being sexist (the mum in the story is the one doing the cleaning, the cooking, the shopping) but in our house that's me and I do all those things. I can understand why some might make the point though, although I wouldn't have noticed it until someone said it. All in all, a fun book!

Funny book
My class loved this book and it is one we go back to. A lovely story, colourful and fun. Well written and great illustrations.

This is a Board Book edition
Love the book, but bear in mind what Amazon are listing as a Hardback edition is in fact a Board Book. So it's a bit smaller than the paperback version and personally I think this takes something away from the busy illustrations - also no sparkly webs at the end! But obviously if you need a board book it's fine!

Spiders are not scary!
A nice book which reassures children that spiders are not always to be afraid of.

inspiring read
This is a delightful read, and the glitter is used in a breathtakingly way, so much so that our class of 4 and 5 year olds were inspired to make their own glittery webs. The refrain of 'Aaargh spider. Out you go!' has captivated all the children I've read it with, and it is a particular favourite at home. Lots of lovely details, from drain pipes to guinea pigs, a sweet message, and a funny ending. Perfect.
