SAMSUNG QN85Q80AA 85" Class Ultra High Definition QLED 4K Smart TV with an Additional 4 Year Coverage by Epic Protect (2021) (Used)

This is my second Samsung television and Samsung still delivers. My first one was a 55" and lasted a little over 12 years of constant usage. Went with the 65" this time and I am not disappointed and also glad I didn't go 75" in my 14' x 24' family room. I saw questions about removing a protective film from the screen. Yes, I had a tab that had to be pulled and the film needed to be removed. I also noticed after a few weeks, in the right light, there was a smeary, cloudy, film on the screen. With some good screen cleaner and a microfiber rag, it all came off nicely and I believe it helped the picture to be even sharper.

To many pop ups every time I change the channel. Along with that after talking to Samsung help I found out that its suppose to only pop up for 2-3 seconds which is a lifetime, since it blacks out my screen so I can't see the show, also it doesn't go away at 2-3 seconds, sometimes it doesn't even show up for 15 seconds or so, then I start the close pop ups down, very annoying.Now the presets with no options to even change them are annoying,example, I don't watch sports, so a preset multiview with sports I can change is just something I have to scroll by everytime I would use it, for me I just don't use it, making that a useless feature, yes I hate sports that much 😉Now the preinstalls that gather info give it to that apps company who also gives it to Samsung and numerous 3rd paries is unacceptable. Example I don't use Facebook, but im made to have Facebook on every Samsung device I own taking up space and again sending info out, don't tell me it doesn't, they are always set with all permissions, so even if I set no permissions right away, it's already to late.Please give me my free will to decide what I want and what I wish to load to my devices.Otherwise I love this samsung tv like I have loved all priors. Tv is great all presets, preinstalls make it so I will look harder into other companies with none or at least less, or at the worst, a set of apps that work together like google, which I'm leaning towards now.

Bought this TV from a local store, first one had two lines (1 vertical, 1 horizontal), second one is perfect! The set-up was mostly easy...started with using the SmartThings app on my cell phone and on both TVs it got to a certain point and the app seem to freeze and stopped communicating with the TV, switched to the manual set-up to finish things up, everything I had done with my phone and app was saved on the TV and I was able to just click through a bunch of steps and then finish.Now to address the issue of the stickers on the screen being hard to get off and the upside down triangle in the lower left area of the screen, some have reported,...these are a non-issue once you remove the screen protector covering the display! Yep, the sticker is on the screen protector and the small triangle is printed on the screen protector.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and the move to a 4K TV. I will update if needed...

Was looking for an upgrade

I would never buy this tv again. Pushes downloaded apps, poor quality, and functionality is poor all around.My first Samsung and my last. I’ll go back to Sony going forward.

I purchased as a gift specifically for ps5 and the model says it supports but Samsung has confirmed I cannot utilize this feature on the tv that was delivered. I only got the ps5 today and the tv ran out of the return window yesterday.

All the people complaining about a common upside down triangle pixel defect are not removing the plastic film covering the screen. The triangle is on the film. Not great on samsungs part, it has probably caused quite a few returns for no good reason.

I have adjusted ever setting and there is a halo all the time. Fast moving the screen is distorted.
