**Q: has this chair been crash tested**
A: Hi Andy, I can confirm that this wheelchair has been crash tested. The following text is from the manufacturers user manual... The wheelchair has been tested to Wheelchair Crash Test standard ISO 7176/19 using restraints from Q-Straint. Wherever possible the wheelchair user should use the vehicle’s fitted seats and the wheelchair should be folded away and placed safely in the luggage compartment of the vehicle or restrained.If it is not feasible to transfer to the vehicle’s seat then the Enigma steel wheelchair may be used as a chair whilst the vehicle is moving with the necessary restraints and with the wheelchair facing the front of the vehicle. Drive Medical recommends that the following types of restraints be used: Kind RegardsShaun (Livewell Today)

**Q: Is this wheelchair collapsable and can the wheel be removed in order to place in the boot of the car**
A: Yes the wheels do come off easily as they are quick released with a simple push button in the middle of the hub ,,and yes it all collapses down ,the handles fold down the chair itself closes together with the seat cusion removes, and also the lightweight footrest come of quite easily

A: i got a phone call from supplier to confirm disability as price was adjusted on sale if not there should be a heading at top of sales profile page saying download this form it is in red lettering if all else fails you will have to contact hmrc for vat exemption form hope this helps

A: just get straight back onto supplier this has 12 month gntee i had problem with foot plate and got replacement

My wife has recently broken the top of her tibia and has her left leg in a plaster cast from the ankle to the top oh her thigh.We needed to find a practical wheelchair to 1) support her leg and 2) enable her to move around the house and environs.This wheelchair is superb; It is lightweight, extremely comfortable and easy to move (both by the occupant and helper - me!).The chair is very adaptable - it folds in half and the wheels can be easily removed in seconds. It fits very easily into the boot of the car (a hatchback).I was also able to purchase an extension to the right leg support that fits this wheelchair, as my wife cannot bend her leg in the usual way.All in all, these purchases have proved to be a Godsend!

I brought this for my mother when she came on visit for 2 months from India.She felt very comfortable in this wheel chair.This wheel chair is reliable and sturdy also, no problems at all.Very easy to assemble and easy to use/push/drive on pavements etc..I definitely recommend this wheel chair.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable, but awful design.

Chair arrived promptly, but not before I had to fill out a ridiculous form stating what disability I had and how it effects me before they would even despatch it. If you need to fill in medical form they they should be a medical referal company NOT selling on amazon.Design is not great. Amateur at best. First issue I've had is with adjusting the footplates length according to the instructions provided. (You almost need a degree in IKEA instructions reading) I undone the bolt just fine, but the problem came when trying to get it back in. There was zero thread for the screw to grasp on to so simply just fell out. I've had to get a neighbour to sort it out for me and by some miracle she managed to get it to stay with some magic materials in her toolbox!The second issue I had was with getting the footplates on. Should be an easy job for a well seasoned wheelchair user, but sadly not. They refused to go on easily because of a square bolt in the way (Non removable) and said bolt was higher up than in the instructions so was very misleading. I finally managed to get it past by putting my whole weight down on it and as a disabled person who lives alone this is no small task.Chair is comfortable, but I would recommend getting another cushion as the one provided will not last very long.
