Why people are saying this smells of burnt plastic and that they're giving themselves nicks and cuts all the time is beyond me. It smells nothing like burnt plastic at all, nor does it dry up that quick as someone mentioned and it's impossible for it not to do its job, especially if you apply pre-shave oil to your face beforehandAnyway, moving on......As someone who's lived in London for 40 years, I must admit that I'm very fortunate to live 45 minutes away from Taylor of Old Bond Street shop, D.R. Harris, Geo F Trumpers, the newly opened Muhle shops and a few others and just love browsing the items they have for sale. If you're very much into wet shaving, this would be heaven for any shaving enthusiast who loves to see, touch and feel products in terms of brushes, razors, stands etc..... and the fact you're allowed to open cream pots and smell them before buying is always an added bonus tooThe aforementioned shops are so nice and have a ton of products that you could easily spend half hour here at LEAST and it's instantly easy to want to buy one of everything because they just ooze qualityIf you ever visit London, I suggest and recommend that you plan a good few hours browsing these shops in the same day (use Google maps because walking is sometimes quicker due to the business of the London Underground) because you WILL be smiling and buzzing just by browsing their collections amongst other stuffAs for the Lemon and Lime shaving cream I purchased, it's absolutely lovely, lathers up very well and plenty enough for a 3 pass shave with enough leftover to do a 4th pass and possibly a 5th but bottom line is that this one tub will last me a good 4 months at least I reckon because a little goes quite a long way (less is more in this instance)Indefinitely recommended !!!!

Very subtle scent but it helps to wake you up in the morning.As for the cheap part you may be saying that £9.40 is expensive compared to at £2.76 a can.The gas in the can means that the gel continues to expand in the nozzle so when you go go back it is encrusted in this bubbly mess which retains moisture and makes the top of the can rust after a while.I have found that I have never finished a can of shaving gel due to the disgusting state of the cans.Compared to , and this product which should each last a minimum of 2 months due to the fact that you use hardly any to make a huge amount of gorgeous lather.Anybody who uses cans of gel should try a brush and cream at least once.

My first purchase of a Taylor`s product and I must say I`m very impressed.The soap lathers up very easily on a badger hair brush (I just have a budget badger but it works perfectly) even in hard water areas such as mine.I actually put too much soap on the brush on my first shave and had enough for a four pass shave with lather to spare.The scent is a nice restrained citrus scent but doesn`t leave my face feeling quite as fresh/tingly as the Porassso Menthol I usually use does but it`s lather is thicker.The lather provided a great surface for a trial of my associated purchase of Astra Superior Platinum blades which I`d not used before.The blades gave me what seemed a closer shave than my regular Shark blades (which up to now I`ve been fairly happy with) without a nick or razor burn with both a modern Muhle razor and a vintage Gillette "Black Beauty"(on adjustment 4)I bought a tub of the Sandalwood "flavour" too which smells classic old school barbers shop and which I`m looking forward to trying..I bought the second tub really to gain advantage of the free postage and with four different tubs of soap now I won`t be needing any more for a few years.Happy to recommend all three products

It is worth it I got the same again . The smell is out of the world and you can smell it in all rooms . The lather is good and it makes a nice smooth shave . The feel after is nice and the smell and feel fantastic.

This product has changed my shaving experience from something I used to detest to something I find therapeutic. This is the second time I have purchased Taylor of Old Bond Street, previously I tried the Sandalwood which I prefer the scent of, but this provides the same luxurious shaving experience and my skin feels all the better for it. I have not needed to buy a bowl to mix the cream in, I simply wet my brush and just dab the tip in and a small amount works up a fantastic foam on your face.I have recently "graduated" to double edged shaving, but I was using this with a Mach 3 previously and it massively improved the shaving experience. Once I tried this there's no way I can go back to foam in a can.

Good shaving cream, lovely scent. Texture was a bit difficult, as it took a long time to rub to foam up.

This is a very nice soap, i brushed around the tub a few times for a three pass shave, another quick top up for the third, it has a good slickness and i love the citrus smell , i may save it for the summer to use it with my summer fragraces, as with most real shaving soaps i had no irritation, just a light satisfying sting applying aftershave, if your using a can you are seriously missing out on what makes shaving really enjoyable.

Creme - und darum handelt es sich! Diese ist in hervorragender Art geeignet, in den klassischen 250 ml-Edelstahl-Tiegel gestrichen zu werden, wo sie perfekt und rissfrei aushärtet, wenn man harte Rasierschaumseife hinzufügt/eindrückt und das Ganze glattstreicht. Aus dem Originalgefäß entnommen - ist sie als Creme zu teuer, weil zu schnell verbraucht. Sehr "gepflegter" Duft, so oder so !

Mousse onctueuse, lubrifie bien la peau pour le rasage quotidien et nombreuses fragances disponibles. Pour le voyage, j'utilise la crème rasante de la même marque. Client depuis plus de 20 ans, jamais regretté de leur être fidèle.

Me gusta su olor y su presentacion.Probare otros tipos de jabón de esta marca. Ya no cambio, si vuelvo a visitar Londres, tengo otro sitio más , para conocer.

so i have tried both the grapefruit, and the lemon lime scents of this shaving soap, and both of them have smelled absolutely fantastic, with a good strong scent, but by no means overpowering.. just delightful. furthermore, lots of folks have complained of getting their tubs half empty, smelling like a wet dog's ass, and running through it in 2 weeks. well, maybe i just got lucky - but both of mine have come "full" - as in not jam packed to the brim, probably 3/4 of the way full, with a little space to spare on top along with a paper disk that seals it shut. and for those who blow through this tub in 2 weeks - you clearly have no idea how to use it. this tub could last you a month if it only came a QUARTER full... you need literally - a dime-sized little "dab" - in order to generate enough lather for 3 passes or more... so to say that you're not getting your money's worth from this is absurd. if for some reason other's were half full and opened when they got them - that sucks i hope you got a refund. but for the rest of us who received it as you're supposed to, there's MORE than enough in there to last you a good while - again, a little goes a LONG way... and lastly - i've tried probably 5 or 6 different brands of soaps and creams - and this one hands down gives the thickest, smoothese, most consistent lather out of anything else i've tried. it's become my favorite one - though i still alternate between the other beat ones from time to time just to use them up... but if you're new to this style of shaving - just start here... trust me

Excelente producto. Permite que rasurarse sea mucho más sencillo y evita que la piel se irrita. La aplico con brocha y uso navaja de doble filo. Con muy poco jabón hace una gran cantidad de espuma con textura suave.
