COCAR Car Reversing System 4 Distance Detection with Parking Sensor+LED Distance Display+Voice Warning-Silver

I was a bit dubious about this but decided that as the price was great I’d give them a go. Installation required a bit of thought as the cables for there sensors are not as long as I’d have liked. I decided to break into the reversing light loom to get the power to the main box. Fitting the sensors was relatively easy and the supplied 22mm hole cutter was actually surprisingly good. I didn’t need to file the holes larger and the sensors fitted very well. There is a legend on the rear of the sensors that says “up” so they are installed the right way up.The cable for the display is very long so I installed the control box and sensors in the boot and then ran the long display cable to the dashboard.Took me half a day in all but that’s more because I’m cracking on in age and as an engineer, I wanted a god and reliable install.It’s not mentioned in the kit but the dashboard display has a tiny speaker in it to emit the beeps. It is also surprisingly effective !!Overall this is an great little unit in my view at the price point and I’m now very happy with the end result

Seems to be intermittent in that as soon as it rains it stops working. Probably have a leak I need to investigate which makes the unit or wiring a bit damp. Otherwise a great unit for the price and works well when the weather is good 🤣

I bought this after my wife revealed that she had a passion for reversing into parked BMW's, at great expense to my NCB. The colour matches my 2013 Honda Jazz almost perfectly and once fitted they look like they were fitted at the factory. They take a little technical know how to fit as the power supply comes from the reverse light of the car so you usually end up having to do a bit of light wire stripping. Other than that the most nerve racking part is drilling holes into your bumper to fit the sensors. Once all of that is sorted though it all plugs in very easily and works straight away without any set up. I tested the accuracy and it is very close to what it claims so I happy with that. The audible beep and visual indication have long wires so that they can be run up to the dash board where they can be seen and heard but I left them in the boot as the beeper is more than loud enough to hear and I didn't feel like tuck the wires away behind all of the trim. All in all an excellent product which hopefully for a small out lay and a couple of hours fitting time will save me some headaches in the future.

,This is not a good kit, I've fitted many sensors to different cars and the build quality of these are terrible. The sensors have trouble staying in the holes due to the sides have rubber like grippers so they don't click into place and hold, so start to push out with vibration. The control box comes apart easily and the circuit board pushes into the housing as you try to conect the sensors, which means you have to insert them then fix the circuit board back into the control box after.And to top it all there is a delay on the audible sensing.I've given 1 star because the wire length is good!I've ordered a more expensive kit from a different supplier and when that one turns up this kit is going in the bin!!Don't waste your money.

Easy to fit and very effective.Easy to follow instructions and the kit has everything you need to make the process quick and simple.Excellent quality.

Care needed when drilling sensor locating holes. You need some basic wiring knowledge to hook into reverse light power. I found the job challenging and satisfying and the sensors work very accurately. I fitted my display to the headlining above the rear seats to prevent having to send the wires to the front. It's easy to see the display from the rear view mirror. Brilliant product! Once you have thought it through. I would say it was only suitable for someone who knows a bit about their car and how they work.

Its a nice system - gets around a problem I had with the firewall as I wanted front facing sensors. I did not want to drill a hole and finding an appropriate grommet proved difficult (Ford Fiesta Mk 6). Worked, only problem was display stopped working fully after 2 minutes, only 1/2 the display was showing. Would return, but I only wanted the beeper to work properly, which it does. Sensors were OK but replaced with sensors from another kit as they seem to work better - overall the wireless link is good but the quality of the rest leaves a lot to be desired.
