Hi can you use this bdxl 100gb blank blu ray disc for burning uhd/4k video footage to, to play it back on a uhd blu ray player and tv?

If you save it as a video file and use a player that can play those files it should be OK. If it is a M disk you will need a burner that can burn M disks. M disks are supposed to have a life of 1000 years.

What's the difference, apart from printable disk,between this and 43834? both 5pk 100gb mdisc but price very different!

The 43834 version has a maximum 4x write speed. The 98913 version is the latest updated version of these discs, with the write speed increased to 6x I believe they have stopped making the old 43834 version, so the one’s being sold are remaining stock.

The ONLY long term and reliable media type!

These are not regular discs.. there are archival grade discs. The ONLY long term archive media! Tested it under extreme condition - works perfectly. Again, this is the only way to protect your data forever. Hard drives (HDD and SSD), tapes or any other media are effected by depolarisation, magnetic field, bitrot and others who can one day fail you without early notice. I learnt about M-Disc after I found many files corrupted in my HDD and ALL my backups which is on different media type. M-Disc is relatively cheap and worth put the most important data for archive.

Great, large capacity. Just make sure you have a blu ray burner not a cd/dvd burner
