Easy to learn and play, functionality, value for money. This product D&D like board game is a classical like Dungeons and dragons board game because it old story theme for playing vintage adventure quests. This is a great accessory to the Heroquest board game. Make sure you buy the Heroquest first board game in order to play the basics and to move on to further quests. The quality is good as an expansion to your Heroquest boardgame. A five star becuase it is one of the top fantasy board games on the list.

It's HeroQuest.... it's Orges.... what is not to like. If you have HeroQuest, if you like HeroQuest... you are going to want to get this... simple. As with all the expansions, it simply makes the game feel bigger, better and more expansive. Great value for money, fun to play and great quality and as always, the build quality of the pieces are great.

This is a fantastic expansion to the game Heroquest which introduces a new way to play the game with the Worlds End Tournament Battle system which pits your heroes against various monsters (or even other heroes) in a big free for all battle. It also includes new story missions which brings you into conflict with a lot or Ogres who are very tough opponents. The expansion also introduces new ranged monsters which you can use to mix and match with other miniatures to give the heroes a new issue to deal with. Also included are several large new room tiles which change up how the board looks. Compared to some of the smaller expansions or character packs there is definitely a lot of value in this set given all the new miniatures, board sections and rules to expand the game and as such is highly recommended if you enjoy Heroquest and want more things to do. Due to the difficulty of the missions I recommend it be played with a decently geared full party of 4 heroes.

My son is thrilled with the clear ghostly figures in this set! The current Heroquest releases are excellent quality and worth picking up, especially if there's a bit of discount. We haven't started this adventure yet, but i have given one of the skeletons a ghostly glow with some UV reactive paint!

this is prior to playing the quests, though after reading first up, orange models: why? I had been asking this and not seen a clear answer, one of the quests has monsters powered by a fire spell, thats about it, its all monsters in that quest, and its not in any other so there is no confusion if you paint them. its a nice touch though as you will have enough at this point not to need them. models generally: nice, and different sculpts for common monsters, which is very welcome and the plastic will be able to be painted if you paint others so they match and provide some interesting alternatives Warlock: a curious addition to the heros stable, a sort of mic between the wizard, though with only a limited range of spells, and a lesser fighter character, though a fighter can equip to be better. Shes a curious one, powerful out of the box with what amounts to a weaker crossbow in the wand - pity this cannot also be bought for the wizard really, or his staff powered up the same way. shes has a spell to turn into a monster, which you also get a model for (but don't really need, its nice its included though). the quest adventure looks really good, very much a single story in many parts with a nice narrative through it and a sense of gradual dread building so why not five stars? well it feels like there are a few things missing, simple bits that could and really should be here, that would not have added much cost but seem to be curious omissions. firstly you get a set of translucent orange combat dice, these are nice and very welcome, but are missing a matching pair of normal d6 for movement so they become an incomplete set which is a shame, will have to try and find some suitable orange D6 to match. secondly there is no sheet of card tiles and markers, this feels especially bad as there are a couple of rooms here crying out for a mapboard overlay to avoid having to "ignore walls" as rooms are combined. as a plus though, for those who like such things, the box itself is really nice

Very fun to play and nice story!

Great expansion small box, one of the first once, the kid of rare nowdays to find. The rule that Hasbro doesn't reprint old expansions but only create new onces, make this little jewel instantly a vintage retro treasure. As for its contains, the box offers a great deal of action with new quests, without using new enemy creatures which is a good thing. It also contain the enemies miniatures in a different awesome, transparent orange color. You may keep them as an alternative or call them as "fire" or "lava" alternations in your games and give them other stats if you like. I quite enjoyed the new set of dices in the same color which comes with the pack.

Great nostalgic joy when I got the base set for Christmas. (You need the base set) They have a whack of expansions out now and this one is as great as the others. I will say the newer expansions have more heros and new creatures but they are all fun! What are you waiting for! Hit add to cart!

This is an awesome expansion and the one I've used the most. The miniatures are really detailed (and pretty fearsome looking). All of the furniture pieces are great as well, especially the main door that actual goes up and down. This is a must have for anyone who owns Heroquest (you also get some great expansion class, the druid, with new item cards). I've used the miniatures in this game for other RP games I play and they work great there too. The druid is really worth it by the way, this is one of the classes that my friends play the most. It's really fun to turn into a bear and rip those monsters apart.
