Meta Knight No.29 amiibo (Nintendo Wii U/3DS)

I purchased the Inkling Squid amiibo and it's probably my favourite of my (admittedly small) amiibo collection. As usual with amiibo it's reasonably solid and well painted. In particular I really like the way the ink's glossy finish is in contrast with the matte finish on the squid itself: it gives it a convincing fluid look when sat on a shelf, especially when the light sheens from what would be that rising ink, it looks very much in motion. It's been well designed and sculpted, with the usual attention to detail Nintendo afford their amiibo. It's even nice to handle with the different textures of the squid and the ink's finishes in addition to their smooth contours. Only been used with Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe so far but has worked without issue. It's main in-game functionality on Switch is with Splatoon 2, where once scanned (which it'll only let you do once you register both an owner & nickname) you can store your Inkling's current loadout (after you agree to be it's friend) to be recalled at a later time if you're particularly fond of a certain weapon and clothing combination. It also unlocks the ability to get a unique outfit, in this instance some pretty sweet power armour, that you work towards receiving (though it gives you the helmet right off the bat). When you inevitably accept friendship with your amiibo it'll ask if you want to visit some of the game's stages and take some... selfies. I'll be honest, I did question how I got to this point in my life after accepting the offer, but I soon found I was in my favourite battleground, chilling with my amiibo and applying the finest filters to our selfies. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe you can unlock a Splatoon themed racing suit for you Mii character (reminiscent of a motocross outfit) which is nice, though I'll stress this was in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch as I found it was unsupported in my copy of Mario Kart 8 for Wii U (so do your research if you'd be intending to use it with that title). All together a well made and aesthetically pleasing figurine that has some interesting in-game functionality, which for me makes it (as with some other amiibo) a better proposition than most other purely decorative figurines out there without sacrificing that decorative value.

Helped me unlock gear in splatoon 1 Looks pretty cool came in great condition!! This amiibo can work in game such as splatoon and smash bros. It works on 3ds, switch and the wii u console.

Great amiibo but mediocre price. Great to have in any collection! Service was great and product was new!

First of all, this amiibo looks amazing, It has a nice weight and looks good overall. Small detail, but the hat has a nice texture to it. The game functions were great, tried on over 3 games, might work on others for you, I first tried it on Super Mario Odyssey, where if you take it to the NPC Uncle Amiibo, you unlock an outfit resembling the amiibo. When you use it in the middle of the game, it will put a large purple ring around the nearest regional (purple) coins. Next, I tried it in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, where it rewards you with the Bowser MII suit (This will also do the same on the Wii U game Mario Kart 8) Finally, I tried it on Super Smash Bros Ultimate, where I scanned it in as a Fighter Player, also unlocking the Bowser (Wedding) spirit for the story mode (spirits) I hope this review was helpful and thank you.

My son really wanted one for his games so bought him this one, and he loves it. Excellent quality and opens up a few extra things on different games. Good price too. I would definitely recommend

Does what it is supposed to, whatever that is. Seems like a waste of money to me, like just another way to make your kids beg you to spend money on pointless trimmings, but then I'm not ten. He loves it, and seems very pleased with what it does (very little it seems). Being Nintendo, it is obviously very well made and does look very good. I just don't get it is all. Why tho?

Excellent Amiibo Bowser Mariage qui vous sera fort utile pour jouer à Mario Odyssey. En dehors de cet aspect pratique on peut relever un superbe aspect esthétique. En effet les détails sont saisissants et il en jette sur mon étagère. Attention néanmoins aux prix pratiqués par certains revendeurs...

Un amiibo toujours de qualité un objet qui va ravire tous les collectionneurs et fan de la licence Kirby

Amiibo molto grazioso, ben fatto. Un simpatico regalo per i bimbi o per chi è cresciuto con i videogiochi di Kirby. Non fa ottenere chissà cosa nei giochi ma del resto credo si trattino più di oggetti da collezione. Spedizione puntuale e precisa.

Not only did my package arrive a full week before the estimated delivery time, the box was mint condition (although I don't care too much about that because we ripped that sucker out of his confines as soon as we opened the package), and it has all addition Game and Watch poses.
